  2. Just install AGTweaker from link below and put the DWMGlass64.dll with it since you have a 64-bit OS and then launch AGTweaker to use it .. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/162036-aero-glass-tweaker-gui-for-win8-v132/ Woah, awesome, thanks! So I placed everything in a folder I made called "DWM" in C Drive, I'm betting that I'll have to click on the "Load Glass" and "Swatches" Registration Entries to get this thing to work? SHOULD I? I absolutely don't want my computer to blow up, lol is this that stable?

  8. Dont know about 20 but for 15 this is the switch I use with sfx package "setup.exe" /-ms /-ira Then after I install Firefox and setup with all my addons, bookmarks and theme etc. I back everything up to a firefox folder (saved from local and roaming) and run the following script for future reinstalls, This also works for my Chrome install as well. DP. 9. For those of us that want our custom theme color adjust as we change the theme papers, Windows 8 came out with a feature called Auto Colorization and here is how to activate it. • Change dominant color of theme wallpaper as you change background or slideshow • • Open your custom aero.theme in Notepad (make sure the theme is not you current active theme first) • Go down to the [VisualStyles] section • Look for the line AutoColorization=0 and change to 1 • Save the file and reload theme in Personalization Now your Windows colors will auto adjust depending on the dominant background color!
  10. And Caption frames in white or black like win8? Thanks! Please don't forget glow effect on buttons.
  11. I probably won't revise or change the nature theme at this time as I am currently working on some new Scapes themes perhaps I will add the Win8 style caption buttons then.. It is possible to make caption buttons (close, minimize) not rounded but square?
  12. you go some great win 8 themes, thanks!

  14. Good LQQking Theme MrGrim!...keep 'em coming
  15. Nice job xXiNightXx! like the use of square and nav buttons, just not a big fan of the aero taskbar streak in your png resource, now if we could only bring back the blue magnify glass to match the blue text that would be a nice touch..
  16. Check these sites out..DP http://www.vistastylebuilder.com/windows7.html http://www.telerik.com/products/winforms/visual-style-builder.aspx No, RTM is not so biutifull as RP - glowed text on title bars, 3d effect on taskbar, for expample.
  17. Why dont you use the RTM, It should match up for you..
  18. No Problem, I also ported over the RTM Nav buttons which are size larger with the aero glow and it seems to stand out even more now..DP
  19. Why dont you change first to Windows theme like Earth then go into Themes and remove the Hawaii folder and HawaiianScapes.theme file reboot then try and reinstall
  20. then put it in 983 Problem - in aero.msstyles from RP theme there are no STREAM 986 - button resources are found in 983 STREAM - and looks as another form. May be anyone have rp theme with glow buttons? O maybe can help to edit png file from rp theme?
  21. The best way to start is to get resource hacker and open up your .dll files and explore around, there is really very little documentation on all of this since Win8 is such a new OS so we are all learning as we go.. Here are some locations to get your started File Locations msstyles.dll Caption buttons are under >> STREAM >> 971 (png files) NAV buttons >> IMAGE >> location varies per msstyles (png files) Color schemes and Fonts are under >> String Table you can also look at explorerframe.dll and shell.dll to modify your ms explorer. Which I really don't like to do because any changes you make to system files will probably be overwritten with future MS updates or possible service packs.
  22. No ones blaming your bm for the issues, Everyone should know this is BETA again repeat BETA .. I would be willing to bet that he hacked the Uxtheme.dll file incorrectly or changed a system with a non digital signed one. So if you dont know what you are doing then your probably get really good at installing and reinstalling your OS a lot .. This is what I don't understand since the beginning. There were many posts "It does not work for me so I did system restore" but why this? AeroGlass does not perform any change into the system so there is nothing to restore. If something gets broken, it is because user modified something on his own. Yes, there is a small registry script to install the thing, but it is very short so anyone can check what is being changed, save the original registry key and restore it later.
  23. Should check your restore points and see if you could back date it, I got a .vbs file that I use that stays on my desktop and does it automatically for me to Keep me out of trouble. Or maybe Bigmuscle Or Orelio could add a option for a restore point Doesn't look too bad to me... alt+tab to switch. Restart if you haven't tried already, if you have tried already, restart and hold ctrl while it's booting, should load it without the modifications. Then uninstall. Also you're having permission issues, use an Administrator account. Edit: Are you trying to delete a theme? If so you're doing something VERY wrong. There are no themes involved with this. I have no idea where you even got that from... To uninstall properly, you'll need an admin account, the AGTweaker GUI, and then you click the X in the bottom right corner of the GUI and restart.
