Are all of ur machines on the same ip range and subnet? I would suggest that you configure all of ur machines to use the 100.0.0.x range, and the 255.255.255.0 subnet, thats wat i did wif my machines. However if you plan to run a web server off any of the machines, you will need to use an ip range that is not in use on the net.
OMFG u serious? HAHA NOS? Looks like gramps or grandma are into street racing lol, now thats something u dont see every day . We call em freeways here in australia too sweetie
Got home from work at 11:30pm and turned on our internet pc (i am stuck with using a p166 for the net ) . Anyways turned it on to log on to MSFN and when i returned to it from getting a beer from the fridge, i discovered a registry error. Now considering i only reinstalled it a few days ago, thats very poor
Thanx, prob solved, wat i did, my original installation wasnt workin properly for some reason (i think my host screwed it cuz of the site i had on it, anyway thats another story), so i reinstalled it, now everything works sweet, thanx anyway
Ok heres the prob...Ive installed IBF on my server, configured everything properly, created the forums, but the prob is, when you try to post something in the forum, it doesnt put the post in the forum, and just goes back to the forum index . Any ideas?
well i guess 3d realms took a leaf outta epic megagames book when they say how good a job they did on the original unreal, and decided to develop duke forever over a long period of time. Epic started development of unreal back in the days of 486's and wasnt released till the pII's were out.
It depends on wat it "wakes" on. For example, it may require a remote share connection to be restored in order for it to be "woken" up from hibernation. However, if ur pc exits hibernation when it receives a packet thru the nic, then yeh it would wake up ur pc
