I believe ur right, rik, but im not sure that the fdisk command is in the recovery console, as ive never had to use it, if it is u should use that gamehead
3.11? Ugh, i used to have that, got rid of it years ago. I could not go back to that. Must admit, it was more stable than win95. I obtained a copy of windows 1.01 as well, very ugly, even dos shell looks better than it
Yes thats right, you will need to replace winxp's mbr. You may be able to use fdisk /mbr, however you may hav to reinstall winxp anyway cuz win2k will replace files that winxp needs to boot properly. Try fdisk /mbr first, then if that fails, u will hav to reinstall winxp
U can, but u would hav to do a repair install of windows xp after u install 98 cuz it will overwrite the winxp bootloader. For example, install windows 98 first, then run winxp setup and do an installation over the top of the existing xp installation, that way u wont hav to reinstall your progs as u would if u formatted.
