yes routers are a very good option for people. but if you dont need a router, and are only getting one to test this windows, wait til you try it first i think this windows is a great method of secuirty and speed, but some might not like added difficulty to install programs

@sideeffect yes there will be a simple method still. you just write down your old numbers, and enter then manually as long as it doesn't change every time.

fdv, my microwinX project has been slimed big time, i cant find anything else to remove from the registry without causing myslef problems so what do you want? and export of the whole registry?

if you are going to be using a pentium 4 and plan on overclocking at all get the big typhoon, it is the best cooler on the market right now, even beats that new zalman thing and the xp120 or xpc-90

dfi ultra-d is the only way to go they have high quality audio and overclock the best of any boards

late october, it will be around my court date of oct 27 , if I win i have no money, and in order to finish this im gonna need some 60 hours of coding, 30 mins a day is about all i can do right now, sitting is not possible for longer than that when i get some money, i can get some pain killers, and finish this alot faster here is an example of how this windows has helped swat 4 1600X1200 in nlited windows 50FPS swat 4 1600X1200 my windows 80-90FPS this is hopefully something i can reproduce dont ask why, it just does if i could get 3dmark to run, im sure my 9800pro will be eqiv of a x800xl , cause my buddy with one, doesn't even touch my fps in my windows under his nlited one good news nov 10th will be the release of the removed files .cmd reg cleanup close to the end of the month nov 13 since its such a lucky day, reg tweaks first beta tests wont be 57MB as different computers, install different drivers, which is beyond my control. Also i am working on my seconds install that only uses nlite no xp system builder, so this will make it a fair amount larger but it will be easy to get down to 57MB again, after a few user try it out, and I should have a second beta as of tommarror, those who want to try this have til noon, you dont have to be on my beta testers list to get in just msg me, i will let you know if you can help with beta testing, or whether you should wait for a more friendly , complete version

vlc cause its the first thing i tested that worked in my 57MB windows xp but no .wmv, im missing some file, talked in the vlc irc channel about it, they claim it should be able to play , but i know better, lol

more good news remember this tweak? DisablePagingExecutive set to 1 added like 30+ MB ram usage in an nlited windows under my windows .3 MB ram usage, sweet stuff, i do say this is gonna come in two flavours now cause choice is good, plus to get more programs working, is a good thing (i needed to update my drivers too)

ok, first load on my computer is 2 seconds, warm boot isn't even 1 second, maybe 1/8th a second, so i think its all good for me to not bother with it are you using the optimised firefox builds yet?

i think its something to do with nervs/sliped something , lifting anything is bad, i tried exercise, one day, that required moving my back/sholders, thats why im in this state right now. where sitting, for long, is impossible, ... the reistry is full of junk, that makes your very insecure, so removing this stuff helps you a bunch, and in ways you never thought before like make .scr not execute, and you just stoped one method of executing a virus, the .scr virus type stop dcom from accessing the internet (svchost.exe , one of them) now, no possible way for get dcom hacked, cause its not accessing the internet, nor does it access, the protocols it used to, ie. tcp ipx, etc, etc. you see the point here i believe, if all programs became stand-alone, and depended on nothing in \windows, windows would be a very secure os, that would bring shame to some other OS's , Lindows... since i dont want to cause others to flame me for this, ill use that as the example. since all linux users agree, lindows, is garbage, and insecure anyway , but anyway, you can easily made appz stand-alone, which causes a great amount more security, as no virus can infect anything in \windows, cause its not there, its in \Program Files\Firefox now you see some ideas i follow, now you can understand, what kind of support from others ill need, app/game support, by sharing what files are needed to make that app/game stand-alone, and not dependant on system files until i can find out what CS source needs, (in game) not steam, it wont be running.

only reason for delays are extra work on the registry, and "life" im sure that something jeremy can relate to but anyway, dont wait for my project, its being delayed til in oct now. if anyone knows the cure for a back injury, send it this way (been two years, and just got alot worse from exercise)
