actually , no, I have a 1337 machine right now The emachine is the only machine I have ever bought from a corperation. I gave it to my family, not bad for someone whos made only 2500 his whole life This is what i built myself. Right now i got, a dfi nf3 250GB, amd 64 754 2800+ @ 3280+,512MB kingmax hardcore ddr 500 @ 570, sapphire ati radeon 9800 pro, 500W diabolic deamon psu (powmax i find out after, **** tiger direct), diablic deamon case, that can hold 8 3.5" drives, and 4 5.25" drives, and I think 18Fans, ranging from 80MM to 120MM. DL dvd burner, and a cd burner and 80GB WD SE 8MB cache also my reasons for such a small xp, is mainly security then anything else. mainly cause, not all computers in my house support wireless wap protection, so were stuck using wep, which is completly insecure, ive been hacked, to the point where they changed the router password, 3 times already this year, not I put the antenna strength as low as it can go, to aviod it.

Ive only ever had an emachine I dont think they even have a phone number let alone a website, or drivers, or bios updates

I am looking for a really fast host, that can handle traffic, that I dont think anyones personal computer can handle. Thanks for the offer though. If anyone, not just beta testers, would like some software tested in this windows, and patches made for it, before this goes public. Let me know please, so I can test and make patches for it. Thanks. edit I am gonna download stuff randomly and test them, if not. I have downloaded 24 different things, I think people "might use". it took an arm and a leg of work. But sygate free firewall, the one I tested, worked out great. I am very pleased to have it running, as I know many many people use it and for those who are interested nlite works in my windows now too. NVU open source html editor works.

acutally it was mplayer I was trying to get working. but I will try again to get media player classic running. Hopefully I can make use of this then. I am hoping to be approved by this one, that has no banners, gives me 5GB of space, and 20GB a month of bandwich. This will host my patches very well, and allow for easy downloads and updates of the patches. If anyone knows of something better than this, let me know. I will be taking a break tonight and playing some games, I will continue working on it probbally sunday and on and off during the week-end.

Windows File Protection, is under the patch section of nlite you probally want to do the uxtheme patch windows file protection patch and tcp/ip patch, i dont have nlite running right now, as im in microwinX making patches. Give me a few horus, I will update this with a screenshot @d22 and anyone else that asked daemon tools works now, also mplayer works fine. patches for the 22 peices of software I mentioned in these posts very soon. also Nvmixer completly works now.' the following also work now opera, irfanview, flock, alcohol 120%, utorrent @vampiriq under the patches screen in nlite I make another request for more software.

@jasyl by far, your software was the hardest to get to work that I have yet to encounter but the good news is, zone alarm, and nod32 are working, and I will be making patches for them soon. @dirtwarrior I thought so , it gave me a good laught nero 6.6.0.16 is now working , not just nero express, most of it. Nero SoundTrax and Nero Wave Editor , do not work, due to require .osx file that need to be registered, so I wont even try to patch those two parts first tests of media player classic have failed. so far there is nothing I can do that will make it run. ok the last thing I tested was daemon tools, and mplayer (i dont know howto make it get control over the .avi and stuff like that) if anyone can help with that, ill appreachiate it. mplayer is really cool though, its like a command line video player I am bored, will post results for those later. been doing this since 2 pm, its now 2 am, time to play some games b4 my mouse dies.

yes very true. But thats why I am making as many patches as I can to make it very easy for people to use. Check this out, I found a good piece of history here. I know someone had to get a kick out of that pictures. anyway, I am going to be testing nero, media player classic, nod32, and zone alarm, this time. I dont recommened the use of media player classic and titou2k Codec Packages , they added close to 70MB under the windows directory, I will be testing to see if they work, and patch it, but I dont recommend it at all. I will be trying mplayer and its codec pack next

@RogueSpear obviously your have some bias, from listening to peoples problems that have nothing to do with the chipsets on the motherboards, but rather cheap motherboard manufaturers. The best motherboard (performance wize) for an intel right now is an nvidia board. Just some fun facts. and nvidia motherboards are currently, the head in innovation. with there build in firewalls, and nvraid.

not sure about daemon tools yet I highly doubt your frankinsteined microwinX, will work the way you want. you might just want to use nlite never got the tapi32.dll problem, with winrar or at all. i dont know what is needed for ipconfig.exe the last_session.ini is very important, to get a 57MB windows.

printer support wasn't left with nlite. The serices.reg removes the print spooler registry entry I did CCleaner, after appling patch 4, then when i reverted, it had broke windows installer, so I have to re-install windows, to test any futher software, which will be what I do later tonight. @ 11PM est, when watching smallville. I will test opera 9.0 preview 1 then, when that happens open office 2.0 final works in this windows. but the shortcuts get broken, so you have to make your own. along with Zone Alarm Pro (latest version), nod32 antivirus demos. for jasyl and daemon tools for d22 nero and utorrent for rockerbl2 , Alcohol 120% next re-install as it might interfere with daemon tools, and mplayer too. add to my list please btw the testing is to make patches for everyone to make these programs work post step 4 @rockerbl2 can u send me a link for mplayer, and where I can get the codecs for it, that are all one folder/file thingy

I dont even know what type of number to pick but I will try anyway, in the end, I wont know if performance was increased, but I will know, if windows will still boot. But I am sure it will do something. I tested it, not what I wanted. just caused problems editing it.

amd 64 939 are the best for games in single core amd x2 939 are the best processors for both video editing (with dual core programs) (and stuff like that) and gaming (but even better when dual core games come in the picture) intel 775 cpus are the best for single core video editing (and stuff like that) intel dual cores, well the suck, dont get one

perfect disk loads, and stuff, i got the patch for that but cant find my machine , (defragment) after applying step 4 anyone know what files are needed to start dcom?

lol where is the advantage in spending a bunch on time on something just to find out, nlite removed something, that makes it not work

@vci thanks, I think I will have nforce audio up and running since realtek audio codec should work by default, with the cleanup, ill make it a patch the font things, gets fixed with the other thing in the font cleanup folder. ok i got nvaudio working, not nvmixer yet, but hopefully soon. If you are using outpost pro firewall, and need your firewall up asap, msg me in irc, ill get it working for you in under a minute. @all beta testers, if you make a mistake, forgot a piece of software, or just cant figure out howto patch the software yourself (normally extremly easy, since it tells you what it wants) goto c:\backup\ cut the directory windows, paste it on the c:\ , in the windows on your second partition, this will revert you to the place where you can install software, and stuff to that idea. heh, actually i'd rather it remain just a gaming/inet kios, but, there are soo many users now, I must try to keep them all happy yeh I noticed open office taking a long time to load now. Does anyone know if open office is also vulerable to office virus'? clint if you know a way to get office to work, i could use it , but just wait for another week, as I get some patches done for what I am using now and some other asap software, i dont feel that everyone needs office right away, when they can still restart there computer for it. anyway, im going to bed.

word excel, but outlook sux, and is a security hole, i dont recommend anyone spending the time to use this windows, use that, its a big mistake. but so is office then, with its office virus, but, ok, if you want, but you'll be adding back in a secuirty hole did I mention yet, I didn't leave printer support?

you need to setup your network connection b4 you apply the patches read part 3 ie core problems, should dissappear, after stage 4 your intel driver problem, should not be happening, there is no reason for it, unless you didn't do it @ stage 3 winlogon thing would be nice, but the file is in use. if you need to fix this, just cutt back the stuff in the backup folder, and then start over. also, the reason for a second partition was not, the winlogon, it was the fact things that are running cannot be removed otherwise, (step 4)

I am not sure yet. Do you have perfect disk installed inside of my project yet, and applied step 4? from what I think, appling step 4, would fix that. but I need to get the perfect disk patch ready, unless you think you can handle it yourself.

Alcohol 120% I wont be testing either, as it is pointless, cause the point of this project is virus immunity and locking down your computer, installation isn't possible, so its not worth it. nero I use too, and will be setting up the patch file, i already know it works. I will also be trying to make openoffice work, (cause its free, and probbally doesn't need a million things) Opera ill test too. along with perfect disk, uTorrent is a given it works, vlc already tested and works. winrar works too. will just be setting up the patches. btw my cd-rom troubles, seemed to fix themselves, after a bunch of work

I think vista should be free mainly cause I never got anything from anti-trust cases, and I feel microsoft has lost my trust, and I have want for reperations

I cant afford to test it right now, my cd rom cant boot a windows cd anymore, but for some reason will boot a partition magic cd fine. so I will test it once i get a new motherboard, fixing the problem edit i got cd rom working. and will be testing this shortly
