  1. If GPU-Z shows the GPU Load on Windows 7 but not on Windows XP, it is most probably a driver problem. Additionally, you can try other tools as for example Process Hacker or Process Explorer which can also show the GPU load. If they all fail, it is definitely a driver problem. @we3fan! Maybe, it will comfort you a little, in my Windows XP system the GPU Load is not displayed, either. This is probably due to hardware and drivers. Presumably, there is simply no sensor for measuring the GPU Load. I have a very old graphics card installed there, an NVIDIA GeForce 6200.

  3. Hello @Reino! Allow the website userstyles.org completely in eMatrix! Then, check if you have done that correctly: For google.com, I use @VistaLover's SSUAO Mozilla/5.0 (%OS_SLICE% rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0. Here is a proof that it works as already reported: This is the link of the website shown in my screenshot above: https://userstyles.org/styles/180927/disable-css-animations-and-transitions-safely If you still have problems accessing this page in New Moon 28, simply delete the browser cache and reload it! I had the same problem. Lately, this website has really become crappy for UXP browsers, unfortunately. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  4. Sorry! Sometimes, I am simply blind. I totally overlooked the About window.
  5. The website https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/animation causes 100% utilisation of my CPU on my old computer. Animations of any kind are now killers of old, underpowered computers. I have already deactivated various animations in different ways in my browsers. Now, I have also installed the extension Stylem and installed the following CSS style via copy and save from userstyles.org: https://userstyles.org/styles/180927/disable-css-animations-and-transitions-safely This actually stops any CSS animation on the site above and brings my processor back to normal.
  6. Userstyles.org now works in NM 28 and loads the site with a specific style. There is a button Install but clicking onto it doesn't install anything and shows a message I have to install the Chrome extension. However, I use the extension Stylem and thought it works for that site. I can only copy the provided CSS code and create an own file. Or do I something wrong?
  7. Ok, I have managed it. You must only change the UA for general.useragent.override.google.com and not the one for userstyles.org. Thanks you very much for your help, @VistaLover!
  8. Setting the UA to Mozilla/5.0 (%OS_SLICE% rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0 fixes the loading of the main page, but clicking onto any theme or style leads to an empty window as it is the case in Serpent 52. @VistaLover Same effect when creating general.useragent.override.google.com with your UA Mozilla/5.0 (%OS_SLICE% rv:65.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/65.0 .
  9. That site loads OK here (latest NM28, otherwise fresh profile), with ONLY uBlock Origin 1.16.4.31b2 installed (its default filters, only ) : Perhaps you're blocking too much Google-stuff, and their "app" doesn't like that ... In New Moon 28, I tested it with my main profile and with a fresh one. No chance, and there is no Google-stuff blocked by me. I can see the main page only one or two seconds, and then the error appears. Did you also use the latest release of NM 28 for testing?
  10. In Serpent 52 (32-bit) (2023-08-10), the main site of userstyles.org can be loaded, but clicking onto any theme or style leads to an empty window.
  11. Unfortunately, a new issue. This happens in the latest release of New Moon 28 (32-bit) (2023-08-10) when visiting the website userstyles.org: Any ideas? Cheers, AstroSkipper
  12. Just for completeness, my main email client in Windows XP is MailNews, which perfectly works with all my email accounts. In addition, I have installed DreamMail Pro, which also works with all the email accounts I use. Of course, MailNews is a powerful email client and more than that.
  13. I already checked this client some months ago. It supports the OAuth2 protocol. Do you use Office365? Does it in the meanwhile work with it? Only interesting for @Mathwiz. I don't use Office365, only the email service Outlook.com, the little brother of Office365.
  14. Thanks for your compliment! And thanks for enlightening me! Never heard of Armand Gracious before!
  15. Obviously not! Enlighten me!
  16. Did he speak to us from the future?
  17. Here is a quotation from 0patch support page: Cheers, AstroSkipper
  18. No problem! What can I say more than this?
  19. Good things sometimes cost something. Only death is free. And to be honest, not even that one.
  20. Very good choice! Windows 10 Firewall Control Plus XP has been my favourite firewall for many, many years. In the Plus version, you have much more options for configuration and the ability to also control Microsoft system services/programmes. I guess I didn't promise too much. Didn't I? Did you test it more deeply?
  21. @roytam1 @feodor2 And regarding these well-known coders and creators I do not really have to mention where they are located.
  22. Update notification! GetEmAll! has been updated and is now in the version 1.2.4 available. I mention it because the automatic update function in New Moon 28 won't offer it. For this browser, the extension has to be downloaded manually, and its compatibility has to be adjusted in the file install.rdf manually, too, such as shown here: Original: </Description> </em:localized> <em:targetApplication name="Pale Moon"> <Description em:id="{8de7fcbb-c55c-4fbe-bfc5-fc555c87dbc4}" em:minVersion="29.0" em:maxVersion="32.*"/> </em:targetApplication> Modified: </Description> </em:localized> <em:targetApplication name="Pale Moon"> <Description em:id="{8de7fcbb-c55c-4fbe-bfc5-fc555c87dbc4}" em:minVersion="28.0" em:maxVersion="32.*"/> </em:targetApplication> Here is the link: https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/getemall/ Cheers, AstroSkipper
  23. I used Norton Systemworks 2004 which included Norton Utilities and Norton Antivirus and was installed by me under Windows ME and XP. This antivirus version was unfortunately not very effective in preventing popups and malicious code injected by dubious websites I surfed at that times, especially if using the Internet Explorer.
  24. Look at your "likes" and "upvotes" of the quoted post! I think the number of real Windows XP users converges towards zero, unfortunately. But one thing I can definitely say, I am a genuine Windows XP user.
  25. I use the tool USBDLM. It is freeware, developed in Germany by Uwe Sieber, still updated and compatible with Windows XP. The latest version is USBDLM 5.5.9 from 09.07.2023. This is a quotation from the English version of the homepage to get an idea what this tool is about: Additionally, it reports successfully (connecting and) disconnecting of any USB drives via a systray balloon tip to let the user know when the drive can be unplugged safely. Therefore, I do not need an extra tool for a safe remove of USB drives. Homepage: https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbdlm_e.html Cheers, AstroSkipper
