  1. Hi @kuja killer, first of all ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy are not my programs. The creators are @heinoganda and @Thomas S., two members of MSFN who haven't been here for a long time. All information about these proxies you can find in my article "ProxHTTPSProxy and HTTPSProxy in Windows XP for future use" here: In this article a lot of your questions will be answered. You can use these proxies with any browsers, but that doesn't always make sense. Both proxies provide TLS 1.2 protocol where it is missing, for example in IE8. Read first post and you will understand! By the way my project is ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1 which is described in this post: The goal of this thread is to ensure that these proxies will do their job in the future. That's the reason why I maintain them. Regarding to your problems you have to use more recent browsers like Mypal 68 or one of the 360Chrome editions. You can't solve your problem using one of these proxies. But as already mentioned read my article and a lot of your questions will be answered! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  2. And one additional tip. For better overview delete all unnecessary entries in config.ini! Keep only entries of sites you really use! @heinoganda added a lot of sites, maybe to his needs. The config.ini of HTTPSProxy is nearly empty comparing to ProxHTTPSProxy's one. Cheers ,AstroSkipper
  3. Problem solved. Config.ini has to be modified. In section [SSL Pass-Thru] you have to deactivate *gov.uk* by setting # in front of the string or delete *gov.uk* completely.
  4. Ok, I think I've found the problem. It's a certificate problem. HTTPSProxy created a certificate for this site, but ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e didn't. You have to modify config.ini of ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e. Check the folder certs and you'll see, there is no certificate for image.email.tfl.gov.uk.
  5. AFAIK @RainyShadow uses ProxHTTPSProxyMII v1.5, but an older version. You and me, we use ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e and we have the same problem. The older HTTPSProxy doesn't have any problems like @RainyShadow's old release. I think it's a cipher problem. Check the used cipher on image.email.tfl.gov.uk and compare it to the ciphers of both proxies.
  6. Using ProxHTTPSProxy IE8 fails to show this image. Using HTTPSProxy IE8 has no problem with that image. Maybe a cipher problem. You can compare used cipher on https://browserleaks.com/ssl
  7. Agreed! That really and truly is the only end possible with an ecosystem that revolves around "nightly" and "weekly" updates. You cannot properly and adequately "test" software with that release schedule. Your user-base does the "testing" for you. Oten resulting in bugs from six months ago being buried very deep because it took six months for the user-base to find it versus the "coder" that is SUPPOSED TO HAVE BETTER KNOWLEDGE of the "code" but the "coder" didn't have the TIME to "test". Agreed totally too! Nowadays the user is demoted to be a beta tester. That's one of the reasons I prefer @feodor2's release schedule. The new version of Mypal 68 (68.12.3) seems to have been tested more deeply than browsers with a one week release schedule. Of course, a one month interval for developing and testing doesn't mean all bugs have been eliminated or all missing features have been added , but for me the new release of Mypal 68 seems to be very matured. Anyway, I am very happy about the progress of development. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  8. The new release is great. Try it! After a lot of testing I am really impressed. Full add-on support! I love it!
  9. It's not a secret and you are always welcome here, of course. I only asked for a SSE release of discontinued Mypal for my old AthlonXP. The link couldn't be shared officially. So nothing happened! All is good!
  10. Thanks a lot! In the past I didn't realize that there were other builds of Mypal. Was it buried in the issues too? In the official folder definitely not. Anyway, thanks!
  11. @feodor2 seems to have fixed the immature add-on support. I installed seven new extensions without any hassle. No restart, they were immediately added to addon manager as it should be. Great! Thanks a lot @feodor2! I have to go on testing, but so far, very impressive. I am really happy! Cheers, AstroSkipper
  12. Hi @RainyShadow, I did a little research and you are absolutely right. Mea culpa! @feodor2 provided a Mypal 28.14.1 SSE build in the past. Sadly I missed that, it was really buried somewhere in the issues. Using the Wayback Machine I found it in the issue 126: https://web.archive.org/web/20201107143124/https://github.com/Feodor2/Mypal/issues/126 Unfortunately the download link is no longer available. Do you have a copy of this release? If so, I would like to ask you to be so kind as to upload this copy. The reason is I do have an old computer with an AthlonXP 3200+ too. Therefore any SSE release of good software (especially Mypal) is welcome and would be great. Kind regards, AstroSkipper
  13. And now some good news! The source code of ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e is still available in this post: This is the download link of ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e's source code: https://www.mediafire.com/file/s9027bdxffodbna/cryptography-2.8-py3.4_openssl-1.1.1d.rar/file Cheers, AstroSkipper
  14. You are a Super Moderator and you know a lot of members here in this forum. Is there anyone in MSFN with such skills?
  15. Hi @Dave-H, try this site to see all ciphers classified due to its TLS version: https://browserleaks.com/ssl Here is a screenshot of Iceape-UXP accessing browserleaks.com using its native TLS protocol (max. TLS 1.3): There you can see which TLS version is currently used and its ciphers. You can clearly realize that exactly three ciphers are relating to TLS 1.3: - TLS_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 (0x1301) - TLS_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256 (0x1303) - TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (0x1302) Here is a screenshot of Iceape-UXP accessing browserleaks.com using ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e: And these three mentioned TLS 1.3 related ciphers are obviously not present in ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e. @heinoganda added a lot of TLS 1.2 ciphers I have never seen before, but unfortunately no ciphers relating to TLS 1.3 protocol. My conclusion: ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e contains openssl-1.1.1d including support for TLS 1.3, but the TLS 1.3 related ciphers have to be added or implemented by a person with Python programming skills yet. So we need a programmer as it was @heinoganda in the past. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  16. I had never seen a SSE release of Mypal in the past. I used it and it was my favourite browser until development was dropped. Feodor provided only a 32 and a 64 Bit release of each version. And I would know of it whether such a SSE release existed in the past or not.
  17. I can't open https://web.whatsapp.com/. It is immediately redirected to https://www.whatsapp.com/.
  18. Mypal 68 is portable. Therefore you can try to modify whatever you want without any tragic consequences. If it doesn't work, simply delete it! I do have a main profile and one for testing purpose only.
  19. I think he meant a release supporting CPUs with SSE instructions set only, lacking of SSE2 or higher.
  20. When I think about Feodor's old Mypal releases, I don't believe that there'll be any SSE builds. But just an assumption! Nevertheless, an additional SSE build would be great, of course!
  21. For me Mypal 68 is working great too. No crashes and an overall impressive performance on hard-to-load websites. But regarding to the development of higher versions I would prefer completing missing functions in Mypal's settings and fixing the immature addon support at the moment. Generally I think it's an early state of development and there is some work necessary to get a final version of Mypal 68. Anyway, I am glad to have a browser like Mypal 68 and very interested in coming releases. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  22. No problem here. Never seen this error before! I use Mypal 68 in single-process mode. Cheers, AstroSkipper
  23. Update notification! - Both versions of my Root Certificate and Revoked Certificate Updater have been updated and are now of 04/28/2022. You can find them in section Downloads -> Latest Downloads -> Downloads related to Root Certificate Updates in first post of this thread. - ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1, a one-click systray menu to access and control our valued proxy ProxHTTPSProxy REV3e, has been released. The details of my publication and the download link of ProxHTTPSProxy's PopMenu 3V1 can be found in this post: Cheers, AstroSkipper
