  1. That is nice, however, there is a newer build of Java available, plus there is already a great solution at http://ryanvm.msfn.org
  2. you could try: [Unattended] ProgramFilesDir="D:" (without the backslash at the end)
  3. For some apps yes, for some not; depends on the installer. I had a friend who always installed application isto specific folders, like C:\Utils, C:\Graphics, C:\Video etc... After two years he realised it was pointless and useless.
  4. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=Search&f=80
  5. do a registry snapshot before you run the word for the first time, and then after you run it; after that, compare the snapshots...
  6. to change text in that portion, edit SETUPLDR.BIN using some hex editor.
  7. bâshrat should use one entry for all variations of devices which use same driver... for example, all nvatabus.sys related entris should be: nvatabus= "NVIDIA SATA/IDE Controller" if used like this, there would be a way less entries in SCSI section... and less posibility for an error this would also produce a way smaller SCSI.load section: nvatabus= nvatabus.sys,4 same thing could be done for adaptec section....there is no reason for so much differ entries in this stage of the setup, correct names will be applied later in the T-37 till T-33 minutes when the inf drivers are used... just my opinion
  8. ofcourse... if i apply it at the T-12 minutes, it works, but if I change it later (after reboot) it still retains the values from T-13...that is what trubles me!
  9. well as i figured out, there is NO registry entry, as I tried them all! now what?
  10. no, you have to use double backslashes, like this: REGEDIT4 ; Set Logon Box Background Image [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop] "Wallpaper"="C:\\Windows\\Web\\Wallpaper\\default.bmp"
  11. hi, i'm having an issue with applying a custom theme un my ua setup; first, for only one user everything is perfect, my custom theme dragonstyle works perfect; however, when I add anoder user from windows, style is applied, but the wallpaper isn't! so, i need to know where in the registry are the correct entries for both default visual style and default wallpaper that the new users get when their account is created? (i tried few but failed) thank you.
  12. hey, someone might throw swhitches how to integrate this into CD setup...
  13. omega drivers don't have whql... so wouldn't this make windows choose default drives instead?
  14. ...patiently waiting for simonsays to finish 1.0.2...
  15. n 32er, i would rather wait a month for a Open Office 2.0 on your place...
  16. it's not useless, it provides support for complex chinese, korean and japanise characters, and there is more than 50000 of those...not only that, the folder provides support for recognizing handwriting of these characters... basically, it's not crap, but most of us doesn't use it... i've personally also delete most of the contents in LANG folder...
  17. if someone is up to it, please post required registry data to make it default...
  18. ..and what is that 'other' thing beside adding updates you are doing, as you've mentioned somewhere before? :?:
  19. it's probably the same thing... just find the ID of your device...
