  1. my AMD 64 has been waiting for this.
  2. yup, i tried it on 2 PCs. it doesnt seem to want to add to the registry. is the code proper?
  3. Ok i made a "Registry Hack" .reg file and everything writes in the registry fine except this code: ; Set Logon Box Background Image [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop] "Wallpaper"="C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\default.bmp" This is to make the default wallpaper, at the login screen, when the user logs in. When i run the .reg to install the tweak it confirms that it was added but when i goto "HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop" it still says "(None)". If i manually enter "C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\default.bmp" instead of "(None)" it hack works fine. Why wont that registry code enter correctly into my WinXP Pro registry? Thanks in advance!
