hey, i think i've found out something: try to comment out following in txtsetup.sif: [SCSI.Load] ;aliide= ALIIDE.SYS,4 [SCSI] ;aliide= "ALi PCI IDE Controller" as i noticed, aliide is by default loaded through BusExtenders section, so loading it through the SCSI section is most likely to be the source of the trouble... (compare for example pciide.sys entries)
you could create an application which would run silently in the background when you logon, and when being called to terminate itself by windows, code it to delete the content of the firefox temp folder.. it's easy doable in autoplay media studio...
well quite frankly, i don't have a floppy in my computer... for me personlly i think it'a an omission in the windows setup... so what if it's an oem install, why lose feature like this...

yeah, this is also a good solution for ide drives on some mobos... (when combined with an additional sata drive) only that you can't disable em in bios, but disconnect them...
