  1. today? Nope, see http://www.zdnet.com.au/news/security/0,20...39155375,00.htm
  2. Did you follow the guide properly? You have to do section 1 before doing the slipstreaming.
  3. You didn't need to reinstall Windows just to test konten.cmd, just execute it manually You also need to check that 'Administrators' could be translated differently on a german language version of Windows XP
  4. I can only assume you're talking about the Welcome to Windows XP screens? You need to add one more entry to your winnt.sif file. See OEM Preinstallation in http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/winnt_sif.htm
  5. I think its a wireless network card according to google
  6. You need to tell us what line 15 is in winnt.sif for us to be able to help you
  7. What kind of error is it? Does it tell you there's an error in line xx? Paste the contents of your svcpack.inf file using the forum's CODE tags.
  8. I might be wrong in this latest IE update being "cumulative" at all. Because of this: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=871260 Going to do a clean install of XP SP1 just to check. EDIT: Everything's fine
  9. List updated: New Cumulative update for Internet Explorer released (867801), this replaces the last cumulative update (832894) and all the ones before that. We stress that you remove all old IE cumulative updates from svcpack.inf to avoid issues.
  10. edmoncu, it replaces all previous IE cumulative updates as usual
  11. You need to put a " /f at the end of that Winrar line though.
  12. DirectX 9.0c has a silent install option now (previous builds didn't which is why we opted for providing an OPK version at the time). So yes you can remove the OPK and the security update 839643, or wait a few days for XP SP2 instead.
  13. Try using a download manager. DX9NTopk.rar should be 11,708,877 bytes We are aware of download issues on the MSFN server
  14. Its WMP9, and Movie Maker 2 will be included too. No .NET Framework will be installed by default, but its available to install from the CD's autorun menu
  15. Do they still do Norton DiskDoctor? (from the Systemworks Suite) I think chkdsk is the best you can get, since Microsoft won't release particular NTFS specifications to anyone else.
  16. Has anyone else come across an error when using AllowedSites in winnt.sif for the IE Popup Blocker settings? Even the example provided in ref.chm also causes an invalid error during setup [IEPopupBlocker] AllowedSites = www.fabrikam.com; http://www.contoso.com I'm just hoping this is a bug in SP2 build 2162.
  17. Closed. Please do not post the SAME topic across 5 SECTIONS. 1 is enough http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=23045
  18. You should proof-read it. As for the rest, they could be wrong application switches, did you test them before placing them into RunOnceEx code?
  19. Registration is done in many different ways, some are in the registry and some are not. You will have to check your registry, specifically in HKEY Local & Users in Software, and export the part that you think is your registration data
  20. It already has instructions, look under Section 2 in http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/office2003_advanced.htm
