  1. I wouldn't believe anything read on unofficial Microsoft sources, there's a lot of mixed up information going around.
  2. You can integrate the drivers into your Windows XP CD, but this requires it to have unattended files as well, which I'm sure you can keep to a minimum so its not unattended.
  3. About 30 mins. Windows XP SP1, all critical updates and microsoft apps, and about 15 other small-sized applications.
  4. Thanks for the heads up. Will add this to the Installshield page
  5. Are you sure you need a floppy, you don't generally need one unless you're doing SATA RAID. Single SATA drives can be read as an IDE drive and Windows XP setup has no problem with it. But I guess this can depend on the motherboard.
  6. Topics don't get hidden/deleted on MSFN. If you can't find a topic, it was probably moved to the trash can away from public view due to recent flaming, warez or idiocy.
  7. There's supposed to be a Doom95 in Doom3, but I don't think anyone's managed to get to it yet
  8. Make sure 817787 isn't in svcpack.inf. This is mentioned in the first post that 817787 is not svcpack.inf supported as it causes a C:\Documents error like you said.
  9. We're more likely to setup a .torrent for XP SP2 Network install if MS's download servers get hammered. Believe me, BT is very efficient for distributing files!
  10. Here's the page for the exact problem http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/hkcu_registry.htm
  11. MCT, I know what you mean. I'll try and find out if its possible
  12. Put licence.key into C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$1\install\Applications\kpf\ and then use the command: copy %systemdrive%\install\Applications\kpf\licence.key "C:\Program Files\Kerio\Personal Firewall" /y the folder \Program Files\Kerio\Personal Firewall\ might be different, check what it is for 4.x as I still use 2.1.5. A quicker way to put licence.key in the kerio folder would be to dump licence.key into C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$Progs\Kerio\Personal Firewall\ and it will be copied over automatically.
  13. Kerio 4.x's setup is different from 2.x, so you need to do the one suggested by MCT. Also, you can use copy in your batch file to copy over the licence key
  14. When the error happens, have a look in your C:\ drive, is there an Install folder as well as start.cmd? If not, the copy over failed.
  15. That's the right place to put it in, but check if this is also in your winnt.sif: [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\install\start.cmd As well as OemPreinstall=Yes
  16. A number of builds have been tagged rtm, so nothing's definite on what the final build number may be. This subject doesn't fit in this thread.

  18. ROFL nice one
  19. It doesn't have a name, the css and graphics was created by the admin team.
  20. Read the rules http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=18408 Thread Closed
  21. Here's more news, from Mike Brannigan [Microsoft] in the SP2 Beta groups: "Yes we are preparing for the final release, that will happen soon. (sorry no official date announced, definitely not the 4th or 5th August as has been reported by non official sources)"
  22. I did this two weeks back but there wasn't much rewards on offer than there was previously. Got myself a Mouse and some xbox game which I forgot the name of(!)
  23. Are you referring ork.exe as the Custom Install Wizard? This only creates an MST file which instructs setup what to, and what not to install. It doesn't slim down your Office source files.
  24. It has to be extracted first so you can get to the msi file. See: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/moviemaker2.htm
