I had the same situation @ work where some of very important documents were deleted by mistake.. I know I've tried with few tools to get it back but I wasn't sucessful, so I turned to one company in Croatia which has most advanced equipment for getting ur data back.. This way they can restore the data that has been 8 times deleted.. I would suggest that you don't touch anything now and try to find one company that can do this for you..

Yes, in this case all the systems will be collected from AD.. Do you have any domain group which is a member of local administrators group on ur client PC's, in this way you can put acinstall user in that group and then SMS server could push installation on the client using this account which would in this case have appropriate permissions..

Unfortunately, I have people above me who wanted to prevent users from changing wallpaper and that they should only have our company logo (just like yours).. So I could be morale as much as I want but can't do nothing about it..

I'm an admin in our Company and I've also forbade the change of a wallpaper. This can be done via group policy and you most certainly don't have permissions for it.. You can kindly ask your system admin to make one policy and apply it just on your PC in which he would allow change of a wallpaper..

How come I never got spyware or adware using IE?

I wouldn't agree with you since most PC's get affected with spyware or adlware because of users lack of knowledge.. Most users don't read information when they're asked something by their browser, they almost always answer YES to every single question that pops up on the screen..

Can you open SMS Admin Console and see what are the settings for Client Instalation Methods? Systems Management Server -->Site Hierarchy --> Site Name --> Site Settings --> Client Installation Methods Did you checked up "Enable Client Push Installation to assigned resources"? Workstations box should be checked.. Most possible problem is that you didn't specify account on client system which should sms use to install this client.. This account should be in the administrators group on the local PC and you can specify it under accounts tab..

It is much easier when you have a domain, but in this case you should create a user account on the PC where you will share the folder. Add this user account to ACL (Access Control List) for that folder respectively and grant him permissions you want. You can connect from other PC by typing \\%pcname% in run window, you'll see the sharing folder and it should ask you for username and pass. Or you can simply connect to admin share \\%pcname%\C$ ("C" is a drive letter, you can connect to any other drive u want or have on your PC) Then you'll be prompted to enter a username/pass and that's it. In this case you don't have to share anything and only you will have full access to all the folders on that PC.. Click HERE to get more information on NTFS permissions..
