  4. You better switch the default port for the computer that will accept the connection. To change the default port for all new connections created on the Terminal Server you should run REGED Run Regedit and go to this key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp Find the "PortNumber" subkey and notice the value of 00000D3D, hex for (3389). Modify the port number in Hex and save the new value. More information from Microsoft Knwledge Base can be foun HERE I hope you'll manage to connect now
  5. ASFAIK only administrators can do this..
  6. @prathapml, I tried that buddy but I'm still not able to use HTML editor on that forum we spoke about..
  7. You should open TCP port 3389 which is used by Remote Desktop Connection and then connect using RDP
  8. What's this??? Halflife now have DeathMatch, WOW has Onslaught and Capture the Flag and all was copied from the best FPS game Unreal Tournament Anyway nice one buddy
  9. Welcome to the forum buddy, I'm pretty sure that you'll find everything you need here
  10. Very strange, do you remember what has changed since the last time it was working?
  11. Yes buddy, I know that you can use passwords for winrar and winzip documents but haven't heard of default passwords in it, since you used the word "apparently" you haven't tried it also But I'm interested in checking this out so I'll let you know what I've done...
  12. I'm testing IE7 also and most anoying thing is that it's so sloooow, and while opening multiple tabs I notice that pictures are not loaded in new opened tabs Firefox and Opera are faster by far, but hey I would like to use an integrated browser in Vista rather than something else, but if IE will suck this way even with final version, I will use any other browser.. Opera seems like a very good browser for me, fast, secure and with a very good download manager. But some pages are not shown as they are in IE, so this is anoying too, for instance, one forum is having html editor for posts which isn't viewable/usable in Opera
  13. He'll put default password but I didn't ever heard of that in apps... Routers have default passwords when u buy them etc, but this...
  14. What do you mean buddy, I don't see that option anywhere
  15. LOL, nice and useful statistic
  16. Yup, it is moved to the right section, as for cracking I doubt that you'll be able to crack the 128/256 bit 20+ signs password..If you have some brute force tools it could take ages for it..
  17. I must admit that I share your opinion and now browsing with IE7 latest beta.. Although I saw that Firefox is much faster than IE7. Opera is nice too, but some pages are not generated as they suppose to be, while download manager in Opera is N1..
  18. Please reply and give us a feedback if it works.. You have a nice avatar
  19. 10Q very much net user, that is what I needed
  20. Which file system ur using on those partitions, if it's FAT32 then that's the reason.. If you want to encrypt files your partitions have to be on NTFS file system..
  21. Yeah, I figured that out by myself, but I'm not very familiar with writing scripts, could you please help me out?
  22. Ok, here's the situation.. My friend asked me to connect 3 of his computers, set up ICS on computer with an Internet Access. Other two computers must be able to connect to internet through this computer, but they shouldn't be able to connect between 7-10 p.m. each day... What is the best possible solution to do this, can it be done with some .bat or .vbs scripts which would enable/disable ICS at specified times through scheduled task? 10Q all...
  23. Hmm, very strange, since I don't know what could 'cause this I can advise you to try with system restore and restore the system to previous checkpoint... I hope it'll help..
