@jcarle - can't really say it has made a difference In that case, it may very well be that your actual connection may be responsible. ADSL tends to have a somewhat lengthy startup delay at times. Perhaps your modem is often resynching?

Asus has already prepared their new motherboard, the P5K3. You'll want to completely read this article at Anandtech to really see how much you would gain in future proofing, speed and upgradeability just by waiting a few months for a P35 based motherboard.

Best ergonomic tip I can't give, is don't learn to type properly. Those **** typing position lessons will give you carpel tunnel syndrome. I don't have that issue when I type because my hands are not positioned in the traditional sense, my hands kind of skip around the keyboard in a very non-traditional manner, therefore never remaining fixed.
