its enforcing "standard" I wouldn't be surprised in near future that we have to be online to even boot to our freaking OS ! companies just searching a new innovative ways to screw people over
probably because your hard drive is fragmented or old beside if you're on XP and have more than 1 GB memory (yup even if its 1024 + 256 MB) then disable page file, its more resource hog than anything good or useful
I hate Google and Apple but in this case I rather cheer for their tablet success over winblows 8 tablets from new leaked build screen shots I see MS doing nothing to improve the product but rather continuing blindly to metro crap push
see the reason I asked is, because I copy pasted that value from 1 theme to another and 2nd one didn't even changed the color to one from 1st could that be also hardcoded into .msstyle perhaps ? if someone uses vista style builder for example ?
I don't see they are saved in .theme file yet I don't either see any reg call within .theme file from which its called in other words, when you change your "glass" color and save as theme where are those colors stored ?
meh, I always make backup, just fire up ERD commander and its back although I would like in-memory-patcher as well, hence why I wanted uxstyle to install but unless Rafael answers my email, I'll be stuck with "hard" patched file
the RC 3 of "Blue" leaked I find it hilarious that in install UI they still use AERO glassy controls and rounded corners yet they push still that fugly flat UI as main some s***ty contradiction there
must be one of those ghost mystery's and after XP I never trust Windows OS that much as in beginning after installed win7/sp1 I patched uxtheme with patcher and all was working, then like 8 days later everything broke all skins went back to classic as if uxtheme was reverted to original by some system restore (even if I have it disabled) then I checked and patched files were still patched (and not reverted to original) so who's crazy here ?
