the only problem with WM codecs: blank page in Firefox when opening .wmv link / no possibility to download it instead (have to use IE for those links) I suppose this is a bug in the wmp plugin... don't know if you can fix this. ffdshow: outdated & can't view the configuration of ffdshow while playing movie in MPC (rightclick movie --> filters..) (& can't seem to open the configuration window using the shortcut I copied after an install of the full version of ffdshow.) Quicktime: very outdated. It is the wm codecs package wich is ofcourse the most important one.

I don't think all the driverpacks will fit on a CD-R(W) once extracted... you will need a DVDR(W), and not all computers have a dvd-drive...

Perhaps I have the solution for your command prompt windows popping up! HIDE.EXE use it like this: HIDE.EXE install.cmd or HIDE.EXE /w install.cmd to wait for the process to be finished. it is not mine, this file, I got it from someone else at the "Regtweaks pt 3" forum.. It is now standard in my uAcd placed in my system32 folder. I have no splashing command windows anymore during installation

WIHU can do this for you (and adjust the selectable options if a certain program (or regkey) is present.)

I don't use any codecpack... use only Ffdshow and can play anything. Ffdshow is not a codec or a codecpack, it is a filter, therefore, no useless files are installed (like xvid decoder AND divx decoder AND 3ivx decoder... all just mpeg4 decoders... ffdshow plays it all being just a filter). Also no ac3 decoder needed.. Hmm it would be nice if there was an update of QuicktimeLite... also ffdshow perhaps.. Btw if I install ffdshow (full), when I rightclick during a movie in MPC, select 'filters' I could acces ffdshow config... with ffdshowlite that doesn't seem possible..

Since it all seems a bit finished now... perhaps it is an idea to think about how to make an easy update feature... so that one doesn't need to have a 'clean' winxp, for integrating the drivers. I did use 5.10.1, but now I want the new LAN and Graphics B packs... the graphics pack supports some new devices so to have those names in the correct files... I would have to do the whole integrate process again. (wich goes very fast and simple btw, it is just that my uA cd has a lot more modifications wich costs more time... have to do all that again). I don't know if it is possible... but it would be nice I guess. btw soon my uA cd is perfectly as I wished, hope to make some money out of it and will definately donate

You really must have done something wrong: Windows only, with RyanVM and Xpize, Nlited to ~230MB, 20 min or less install on a 1,3 ghz pc with 256 ram.. or something like that... at least about 50min with my full uA cd.

So I just reinstalled an old laptop with my uA disc, didn't had any RecycleBin tweaks. Just to test I also applied the deletekeys, but that didn't had any effect (ofcourse this was a 'clean' install so there was nothing to delete). I will try to find a fix for this. Unfortunately, after installing Unlocker (great tool btw) it doesn't appear in the My Computer menu! It does appear in all other rightclicks on folders and files. Your 'Empty Recycle Bin' tweak appears also in all rightclick menus, if I rightclick on just some folder or drive it appears there also... I just want it in My Computer rightclick... I tried some things, unsuccesfull so far. The Logoff/shutdown etc things are very handy. But actually I would like to see them when I right-click the Menu Start button, only in that menu. I don't know if thats possible.

@ tvengel: If you let cmdlines.txt execute your regtweaks.reg file, the HKCU tweaks will be the standard for all users created in the future!

How did you get 'unlocker' between seperators? or is that a program that automatically puts a link there? -->I have Kaspersky AV, wich puts a link to scan My computer for viruses in this menu, between seperators. Now I would like to put 'cleanup' and 'defrag' and 'remove software' also between the same seperators of Kaspersky (Unlocker in your example). Just to keep the all the maintainance tasks seperated from the rest... Also, you've got "Empty recycle bin" ! how did you do that? SORRY This is very stupid but uhm, I just forgot to download the WLAN driverpack!! So forget the bug I reported here previously... BTW Can I just add WLAN pack to my "OEM" folder? or do I have to do some reintegration or so?

Benjamin Kalytta, I like your ideas But I do understand you can not put much time in this project. No problem, WIHU is great already... these are actually just minor things that would be handy if it was possible. Please take your time, if there will be a 3.0 that would be great. But current version suits my needs for now.
