  1. /VERYSILENT /SP- check the installer for further info.. but that'll give a basic silent install u have 2 kill the process i believe at the end
  2. its not happening anymore, i didnt have spyware or anything, but whenever id load the forum page.. just b4 it loaded the forum it gave that message
  3. all setup.exe does is launch the msi.. it does some other checks 2, but thats not really important here

  7. just run the msi start wait "vmware tools.msi" /qn should probly work
  8. hi it depends on the setup type.. some setup's allow u 2 use a switch like TARGETDIR & some dont allow 4 that, so check with the manufacturer of the setup
  9. yes, that is correct
  10. try updating 2 the latest drivers? also, a lil more info about your pc.. whats running @ time of restart? what os? how much ram? all that stuff
  11. u want 2 prompt the installation? or are you wanting a silent install? if u want a silent install, search the application switches forum if u want 2 manually enter all info.. dont put switches start /wait program.exe that will ONLY start the program.. wont make it silent..
  12. once u have the batch file.. depending on how u set it up.. u need 2 place ALL your files in $OEM$\$1\Install then in your winnt.sif put the following OemPreInstall = Yes & [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\Install\myapps.cmd myapps.cmd should be place inside the same folder as your applications in my example.. regards
  13. i just took a quick look @ it.. with winrar.. right click the "mw9791enu.exe" file & select "Extract Here" it extracts all files & just run it like a normal installshield setup EDIT: just checked it & it works 4 me start /wait setup.exe /S u probly could have searched & found same answer tho regards

  23. hi i use FreeDownloadManager im very pleased with it, as its name suggests its free & is very good, it integrates into any browser, has a nice GUI, & uses low memory only "con" ive found is it doesnt show a progress bar.. rather a percentage complete sign , but still well worth the download ive tried many & this is my favourite 1, leechget, flashget, getrite & many others.. they either all cost or take up alot of room or have a crappy UI regards
  24. drthawhizkid yes, i know.. but its not a native feature
