nah, hes a n00b lol i just want something simple & can prevent about 5 apps from being run, WinGuard is good but costs after 45days, id like 2 have it be free (+ with winguard u get nag screens asking 2 purchase it) something free is what i want there is a password on the pc, but i always stay logged in cuz i dont need (or want) 2 have the hassel of logging in/out if i need 2 access the files/pc for some reason i know about the winkey + L BUT i cant "see" whats going on on the pc, id still like it to look functional ill give the others a try & edit this post

u WONT have an Install Folder, but thats how its sposed 2 be layed out i386 = Your xp (if u explore your original xp cd u will see this folder copy it to that folder) $OEM$ contains folders such as $1 , $$ , $Docs which arent neccessary, for your cd 2 work, its just optional $1 = is copied to your system drive (usually c:\) $$ = is copied to your windows directory (usually c:\windows) $docs = is copied to documents and settings (usually located in c:\) theres other directories u can use in there, but just as an example OEMPreInstall = Yes MUST be in winnt.sif for folders 2 be copied during unattended install

make sure u are loading a .reg file instead of just that code in cmdlines.txt

u need 2 apply them 2 all users, not just current user , apply them to default user too! or just import them during your unattended install @ T-12

i love using dvd/cd to install much faster, more professional using xplode running @ T-12 its great

yep, providing they had an account or your ftpserver or if u have it setup 2 allow annonymous users to access it

if for example, u have the .inf copied over during install to C:\Infs u would use this code to install it silently Rundll32 InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 128 %systemdrive%\Infs\DVDShrink.inf

i just repacked it & included my prefs in the installer
