same modem as me, no doubt similar setup. this is on windows XP right? This sounds daft but have you tried the modem with the USB cable and see if that works? i know its a bit less reliable but if it works for now it works... before trying that, go to command console. type: ipconfig /flushdns then do: ipconfig /release turn your modem off, at the mains socket (or take the plug out of the back) standby will NOT work. reboot the pc. ok when the modem has been turned off for about 2 minutes reboot the pc. Then plug modem back in. ok now back at the command console do: ipconfig /registerdns then do: ipconfig /renew Any luck with that? other things to try as well as the above... check Nic drivers, uninstall Nic and reinstall it, check for driver updates for Nic at manufacturers site, turn XP firewall off, Try another Nic.
