What is it about your OS that makes it so good? or do you just use it because everyone else has told you to? i setup linux on a pc at college and people where coming over to look at it all evening,.. because they had never seen it before. some also came over to look at xp as they had seen that either! you would think that it being the most vital bit of software you use everytime you turn your pc on that they would research whats out there... but obviously not. so why do you use what you use?

im watching this now on DVD, the whole series episodes 1 - 10 as i missed it on tv.. well most of it. This show is utterly awesome! Its as real as saving private ryan was, infact this is beter imo. You hear bullets whiz past the camera, the guns sound just like they do in MOHAA. Anyone else seen it? did it get shown in the usa too? (i expect it did)

Why on earth can you not buy fanta in canada! my faveourite drinks are: Earl Grey tea. or Laphroaig best single malt whiskey there is, heavy peaty flavour. Oh and i own my own plot of land in scotland thanks to them heh (you all know what to get me for xmas now hehe )

is your website hosted on a windows server? its just hta access. very easy to setup

man i so wish this game would come out for pc.. im sick of waiting! theres no good pc games out just now, all holding back for new years and xmas New World Order looked promising but in the end it sucked andthe beta was less buggy and beter looking than the final game, i hate it when they do that, dumbasses have shot themselves in the face, release a buggy game (eg warrior kings, GTA3 on PC .. etc) and it flops immediately, loads of discs get taken back to The GAME and the price drops within weeks. nobody plays it and no servers stay online.. the game dies and the software companies money does too.. man sometimes i wonder what monkeys make games come out on deadlines... and yet others hold games back waaaay too long just for release clash issues. i dont care if splinter cell or halo is out on XBOX and not on PC.. im STILL NOT BUYING A **** XBOX, ITS JUST AN UNDER POWERED PC. grrr

i think salesmen in pc stores lie out of their a** to sell you something, then when they get you hooked on the idea they insist, even tell you its compulsory, to buy some overpriced crap "extended warranty" point one: usually this "warranty" (often not worth the paper its printed on) costs waaay more than any one component in the machine, when you tell salesmen this they usually look at the floor and then mumble something about lightening strikes. point two: by the time the "extension" comes into effect the pc will be worth around a quarter what you paid for it, if that (especially if you bought a pc from some large store.. it will be full of cheap, underpowered, OEM parts) point three: pc salesmen usually know more about washing machines than computers, as often they sell both (comet, currys etc) and more often than not they dont even own their own pc. > see most of the spotty 16 yr old staff in Staples for example, they dont know the difference between an athlon or an intel CPU usually, and think 90min CDR are "specialist" and can only be bought online. (this is true, a staples staff member told me this, he then went on to say they may not even exist..!)

I take it windowsXP is installed right now? do you have a windows CD. any 98/me/xp/2k will do?? or a "rescue" floppy/cd and some other disc? theres a few ways to do it, its not hard but i need to know what you have first dont panic

Longhorn already doesent depend on XP files.. well i mean it doesent need any files other than whats on the cd. there is no reason what so ever to do an upgrade of XP with it! its just like when everyone was installing whistler betas.. exact same procedure to install. dont like the boot screen? heh! change it to longhorn then

heh i "found" xmms earlier, its renamed mp3 player under lindows... or was. They spent all this time renaming stuff to "mp3 player" "my documents" "screencapture" (ksnapshot) etc and i go renaming it all back
