  3. Now, I was playing with some ASCII-value stuff and came across this little thing: ASCII - Letter ----------------- 99 = c 114 = r 105 = i 115 = s 112 = p 121 = y ------------------ 666 = crispy

  6. Yes, thats very true... but they guys behind napster knows this, and i problably won't be an issue... What Im conserned about is the quality of the files. On a CD you get the files in a lossless format, Wave, in a mp3 you get ... well, mp3! Which is not lossless! ... So if such a service is to apeal to me it should provide the files in some kind of lossless format, E.G. .APE or WMA PRO.

  11. The address style is called a "Dword", meaning "Double word"... because it consists of two 16 bit parts which are combined into a 10 decimal string... Try looking at this here, it illustrates it quite well I think

  15. Its done via a reg tweak: ;Disable Windows File Protection [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "SFCDisable"=dword:ffffff9d ... and No, I would'n say its a good idea, unless you actually are going to be tampering with the core system files... but of course, a true geek likes to play hard, right!?
