XP Theme Randomizer -------------------------- This program was made from a post [Trick] How to Set Windows theme from command line by Ken@fri This is an autoit compiled program that select and apply randomly an existing theme. Requirement: 1) XP OS only 2) At least have 2 themes, excluding Windows Classic Theme must be available This program does not check whether your OS has patched UXTHEME.DLL or not. Features: Support console mode. The parameter is the full Theme's filename. XPThemeRandomizer Luna.theme If Full file name contains space, you need to double quote it. Eg. XPThemeRandomizer "Windows Classic.theme" Access the program thru shortcut created in Accessories Group. Additional features (but disabled): You can adjust the inf for a normal unattended installation & immediately follow up with the program execution with your own choosen theme, either in randomized mode or specific theme in console mode. The supplied inf are included for these possible modes but you need to uncomment or comment the inf line yourself. This has no effect in unattended installation as the theme you set will be override to default (or specified in WINNT.SIF) when you 1st boot to desktop. At the most, only the wallpaper is applied. The only way I know is via RUNONCE key but it has the disadvantage that it requries 2nd reboot to work. Experiment/test at your own side. Updated to 4.2 build 2409 Downloaded installer is v4.2.2376 but when connected online, the program will prompt for download patch to v4.2.2409 http://img694.imageshack.us/i/updatepatchprompt.png/ Hence this time, the package includes program + patch file to v4.2.2409. Main program is installed silently, Patch program is install-wizard style. (You will see the installation screen but do not need to click to install)

Run this installer without switch will cause it to run silently. This is a 7zsfx modified module parameters (quote from the help file): %%M - SFX Archive Name Without Path (in this case, it is 'MacReflectSI.exe') %%S - Full Path To The SFX Archive (in this case, it is 'D:\i386\svcpack' when run from any virtual machine during testing at T13) Note: To extract 7z exe installer, you need 7ZSplit.exe (part of 7z SFX Modified Module and Tools), which can extract the .7z files and the config file. To uset his, drag the silent installer and drop onto 7ZSplit.exe. The extracted config file is named after the installer file. (in this case, MacReflectSI.txt) If you use Winrar or Universal extractor, you won't be able to extract the config.txt file. They will just extract the archive files.

The ROE entries is controlled through 7zsfx config.txt. You have extracted the installer. You will see a text file when you extracted it. You could edit the 7zsfx config.txt file that you have extracted, particularly the 2 x AutoInstall syntax (maybe replace 'MacriumReflect' with your own number). Then repack back using 7zsfx tool. Edited config.txt could be like below (note the use of number '016' instead of 'MacriumReflect') : If 1st suggestion/method is not viable , just incorporate into your own batch file of ROE. The installer is switchless. (ie use 'MacReflectSI.exe' as the launch point, w/o the -ai switch). The autoit compiled script is nothing more than just a standard msi silent switch AND to remove desktop shortcut due to timing issue too. (I dun like program's shortcut on the desktop for every program that I installed). Alternatively and maybe, you could run from GUIRunOnce instead. You need to deal with it at your end though. U can repack using 7z SFX module tool / WinRAR SFX or use RunOnceEx to add switch, depnding on how easy (My choice is WinRAR/RunonceEx) or how complicated (My choice is 7z SFX) the install method is.

Jvidal, glad you think it that way. Didn't mean to play down your good intention. Just providing an alternative approach/site for Adobe Flash Addon. Just another thought... It will be more appealing if SWFLASH.cab also have uninstall entry/info. Best regards

No, there is not need for you to modify anything to get it run at RunOnceEx. Just slipstream this addon like any T13 (svcpack.inf) addon. At T13, it will create registry entry only. Actual installation will takes place only after reboot and after OOBE phase. (where the OS loads it's logon screen)

Hi, Mimo I made a small autoit console script to detect current SWflash.cab version. I'm not surewhat you think and whether it is of any use. It writes to console the current Flash version number. I'm not good with batch script so I dun know how to pipe the result to your script. Hi Mim0 Useful script. Just to let you know I had my WMP11 put in HF\WPM11 folder (they are extracted files). Your script says: Check missing updates for WMP11: -------------------------------- missing (S): HF\wmp11-windowsxp-x86-ENU.exe (Windows Media Player 11) I know I dun have wmp11-windowsxp-x86-ENU.exe b'cause they are in extracted form. I dun uninstall it but having it listed in Add/Remove panel allows me to easliy check it's program version quickly. Since I'm also using firefox, the site allows me to update "Adobe Flash Player Plugin" as well. And it also have shockwave which I need too. It's just a matter of convenience.

Personally, I have stop using swflash.cab as it lack uninstall functionality. I prefer thru HFAAO using this addon.

There are 2 known methods which I know how to get CD drive path w/o using the 'RunOnceEx from CD' method. Hence does not need $OEM$ and does not need OEMPreinstall=Yes setting in winnt.sif 1) First method is thru batch file. See my addon sample (unpack to view .cmd file) µTorrent 2.0 Beta 2) Use 7sfx method that uses %%S - full path to the SFX archive file parameter. Something along like this in the config.txt Would have to be in 7z/cab/rar format (nlite-compatable with entries.ini +svcpack folder format)So the final 7zsfx silent installer via entries.ini would be ---> DOTNET335.exe -ai

Strel , thanks for the constant update and improvement. The last time I used your _SNMsynth.cmd pack was about 10 months ago. This time I use again and see many great improvement with your cool cmd script. As I build .NET 3 & 3.5 via RunOnceEx (Final output size is approx. 36MB), I notice you use inf to install DN335.exe via C:\Windows folder. Which means it is copied first via text-mode setup phase and execute the installation only when setup enters the OOBE phase or after. My idea using RunOnceEx method is to run from <Optical drive letter>:\I386\SVCPACK so that it does not need to copied to hardisk first. (Essentially <Optical drive letter>:\I386\SVCPACK\DNF335.exe during installation) Just an idea...
