  1. i reckon you should just couple them as "bluetooth and infrared" why do they break each other? do they just share some of the same files
  2. thats what i use i just wish they made these in ps2 aswell though
  3. if anyone knows how to rebuild icon cache, i'd add that in, can't find any info on it... i'll add a note saying you need to reboot for it to work xpero do you know? i know tweakui has the function to do it, and so does regseeker.. as for that rar question, if its a split file, it'll show the S icon for the .001 files only, i never use winrar, but if a file had .rar at the end it'd show up as a rar file, so the split only applies for 7zips .001 files (unless any other program uses .001 too) -hope that makes sense!
  4. they're seperate countries! -edit, they're not the same as states anyway
  5. you are using a real mce key yes? there is no corporate version of mce, so you have to activate using a genuine key what i did was copy cd1 and cd2 to c:\xpcd and point nlite at that, then remove the usual crap (keep mce compatability, and don't remove .net files) and mine makeiso, then install, it won't ask for 2nd disc but it will install everything it needs and MCE will work
  6. bledd replied to nuhi's topic in nLite
Well I tried nlite 1.01 final and rvpack 2.10 with the same results as before. This time I used ryans integrator to do that part and basicly whenever nlite touches the install it causes the issue i'm having. Without nlite its fine. So I know for a fact that something I'm removing is causing terminal services to also be removed. If someone can shed some light on this PLEASE DO. I'm completely LOST. I've been able to detirmine that it is none of the following: ryans update packs any of them 2.06, 2.07, 2.07a 2.10 any custom files I add on after nlite. any install that occurs during the install from oem's folder any drivers any reg tweaks Basicly I cut out each of these to figure this out and all at the same time and nlite is the only piece of the puzzule thats left. If someone can look at my last session file and tell me what I need to leave in there to keep terminal services that would be helpful. Thanks in nlite in the compatability options for removing things, check the 'Terminal Services' option, i remove a CRAP load from mine, but i tick that and it hides 3 things, always works!
  7. i bet you're using a USB keyboard.. either use a PS2 one, or look in the bios for 'legacy usb' mode
  8. 27 seconds is about right mate, depending on driver speeds, install latest drivers for everything also, use 80-leads for all your drives
  9. personally, i remove IE (not IE core) and outlook express then i use firefox for internet, and gmail.. but thunderbird is supposed to be very good for email
  10. my nlited xp install doesn't remember that this is set to default screensaver.. it doesn't remember on my brothers pc (nlite too), all other screensavers seem to work ok.. it works when i preview it, but if i click OK, then go back in, NONE is selected.. anyone know a way around this? edit just formatted, problem gone i didn't format JUST for this by the way!!

  13. bledd replied to qwertt's topic in nLite
if its just one off, just use the F6 method.. (press F6 during setup when its asks and insert floppy drive) or look around for manual sata driver integration
  14. have to agree on that! its runs kinda sluggish on my 2gb machine..
  15. bledd replied to playsafe's topic in XPize
