  1. black release, sweet
  2. what card is it exactly? copy your xpcd to C:\xpcd\ extract the driver you want to C:\driver\ (for example -ie, dont place it in xpcd), make sure it has a txtsetup.oem file use nlite to integrate the driver, as TEXTMODE, select the os you want the driver for, and make sure its the same card model, click ok should work works 100% for my promise ultra tx2 100
  3. i use $OEM$ folders to install my apps http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/18/ http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/31/ Runonceex is how you tell it to install things.. edit the cmdlines.txt file that nlite creates in the oem folder, well, add the gui runonce part have a good read over that, it makes sense the files i put in my runonce are here.. http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ you can call the .net2 from that by just using the filename if you need more explanation, post in the unattended section
  4. i've made one for myself, but the creator was asking me to put GPL licence in any installer that incorporates his installer or something, i have no idea what he meant by the gpl stuff so i ditched it if someone else wants to use my icons and release an installer, feel free! Tux, you know exactly what to do, so you can do it if you want pal
  5. i keep calculator, the addone replaces it
  6. maybe we should make a 'working nlite themes/styles' list
  7. by ****, you can too must've been added in 4.xx sometime, i'll change the reg file when i update it next to include it, just not non 7zip exe's (which is understandable) any other suggestions for this pack people?
  8. this is what i do open nlite select service pack hotfixes options slip sp2 choose ryanvm pack, powercalc and tweakui, select advanced, and tick all options go to patches screen in options, disable sfc (so cat files are removed -touch nothing else for now) do nite process.. close nlite open nlite, remove, add drivers, unattended, options, tweaks and iso
  9. try selecting UDF as file format has anyone sucessfully burnt a dvd using nlite 1.2 b?
  10. yup exactly right, you tick the things you want to remove, so don't tick the battery driver
  11. lol slipstream sp2 into xp done
  12. do it one step at a time mate ie, dont use microwinx for your first few discs also,i'm guessing is the rvm 2.1.2 update pack you're after.. (hotfixes)
  13. yeah, udf may only be needed for dvd movies, i'm not sure, so might be able to remove that option altogether
  14. attatch your lastsession.ini file
  15. thats correct
  16. just use an original xp/2000 disc to copy it across again and this time don't remove the battery driver..
  17. right now i'll put it down to bad media (because of the length it takes to complete in imgburn) will test with next version too though cdr worked fine, don't have any dvdr's here to test with (ie, to test if UDF is needed for all dvd's)
  18. I've got some DVDRW discs that used to take ages to 'synchronise cache' in imgburn, so there was something weird about how they are made, it'd take about 2 mins to synch after a burn now these discs in nlite fail to verify (it appears as if the files are on the disc, but it fails to boot) its probably just the media i have, but the burning dll doesn't like them does anyone else use DVDRW discs and do they work ok for you? -tried at low speeds and with both UDF on and off, same results
  19. i dont miss it really because 7zip doesn't support direct adding to exe's or compressed files, so until it does, i'll keep that hidden ^when you're able to do this in 7zip, it'll be awesome! its not everyday i need to open an exe to get a file out, i just extract to a folder now instead of opening the file manager each to his own i guess
  20. pgase, any chance of making a release that only has one shell style (the 'normal' one), or will deleting the shellstyle dll's remove them from the selection menu in appearance properties anyway? removing two of them saves a lot of space if not, i'll just reshack the bitmaps/values that i don't need
  21. this was found on first page of this thread, and nuhi released quickly download again and should solve it.. ryanvm users, the languages thing has been apparent for quite a while now, just do one run with only ryanvm pack (and options to tick disable sfc for cat removal if you do that), then close nlite after its done and run it again , works perfectly
  22. not used a floppy in years, but when i used to use them, the 720kb ones didn't have the 2nd hole in the top corner, try covering it up and see what it gets recognised as.. (put some tape over it)
  23. edit
  24. awesome release. do you have to select UDF mode when burning onto a dvd?
  25. new version isn't out yet
