My source is "XP SP3 included by MSDN" (German). I slipstream IE7 and WMP11 without problems. I do that with different Addons/Hotfixes - Addons with integrated Hotfixes or genuine KB by MS.

IE8-Test for Quick/Full-Edit: Quick-Edit: okay Full-Edit: okay Edit: I use IE8 RC1 with WindowsXP SP3.

XP-SP3 doesn`t include IE7 and WMP11, neither Updates and Hotfixes for both of them. If you want to include IE7 and WMP11 to your XPCD, use nLite. The Hotfixes are needed, too. There are complete Addons available.

Maybe i don´t exactly understand. You asked for "Addon" in the first post. So maybe i don´t understand your installation method. You`re talking about RunOnceEx - you can even use it on that SFX.

I always modify my nLite-SFX, so it contains the Booogy-Slipstreamer. Also the SFX installs to it`s own folder to be able to use more than one nLite-version. Just test it, it slipstreams the WMP11 without any problems. DOWNLOAD

Which OS you are running on the Acer Laptop? If not XP, take a look when yoe share the printer. You are asked there, if you want to install driver for other OS. Maybe i´m a little confused. If you have connected the printer to your Desktop-PC and just share it from there, I don`t call this a "Network Printer", it`s just a shared device.

I prefer to build first a SFX which includes the Setup with the needed Switches. In case of my "TrueImageHome" the SFX-Comment looks like this: ;Der Kommentar unten enthält SFX Skript Befehle! Setup=TrueImage10.0.msi /qb- PIDKEY=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx /norestart TempMode Silent=2 Overwrite=1 After this you can build your Addon including this SFX, no more Switches are needed.

I think the question is: We don`t know your ISO, but it behaves not in a normal way. As "ccl0" mentioned, the ISO is an (mostly) uncompressed Image of the Files. When i use nLite, i mount my original ISO with UltraISO and copy the Files with nLite to a clean Folder. There`s no really growing of size between ISO and Folder. Is it an original XPCD you use as Source?

I prefer MS SharedView. It`s easy to install (needs to be installed on both PCs), it`s stable and easy to use, and one important thing: The remoted client has chance to see every mousemove and action the remoter does - and with only one click he gets back the control over control. I use it to remote and repair PCs for people who i don`t know - and they don`t know me. Trust is good - Control is better. P.S.: The remoter needs a Windows Live-ID

I use nLite since 2004, I never used the IP-Settings - and DHCP was always working for me. Your "Last Session.ini" doesn`t say that you`re deactivate the DHCP-Service, so just leave the IP-Settings alone, don`t make any settings there - and DHCP will work fine. If you got problems with any kind of hotfixes or addons, sort them out Half-by-Half. Integrate one Half, leave the other 50% of them - in your case (2 Hotfixes) not too difficult. What about the settings "OEM-Preinstall" - do you have enabled that in nLite?

I prefer SuperCopier2 for about last 3 years. A lot of useful settings, I didn`t have any trouble with it. It`s Freeware, not bloated, it`s set as standard in my explorer by registrytweak. I never checked out Teracopy, but why change a winning Team?

If the difference between PC-Time and Realtime is too big, the synchronising fails. Set the PC-Time as close to Realtime and try again. Maybe your BIOS looses the right time?

Hm, i do it that way for about 4 years, and it never made any problems. Maybe give it a try.

The settings of the logged-on user are stored in HKCU. This part of the registry is located in in a file "Documents and Settings\UserName\ntuser.dat" (locked while logged on). Make your settings on a fresh XP, log on as a different user and copy "ntuser.dat" to "$OEM$\$DOCS\Default User" - all your settings will be set for all users on the new system.
