  1. To end-up this "i´m talking to myself"... The DPs always after nLite, otherwise nLite messes up a lot of data.
  2. Yoe change your mind very fast... I agree with Kel.

    nlite & xp sp3

Integration of SP2 before SP3 is not needed, please slipstream only SP3. Is it commercial use? Please read the nLite-Licence! Is it an Unattended-Installation? If so, F6 will not be functionally.
  4. This is a comparison of original vLite and my modified version. languages languages presets presets wimfltr +x64 << |+wimfltr.inf << |\wimfltr.sys \x86 << +wimfltr.inf << \wimfltr.sys boot.bin = boot.bin cablib.dll = cablib.dll license.txt = license.txt mcdbnet2.dll = mcdbnet2.dll Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest = Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest msvcm90.dll = msvcm90.dll msvcp90.dll = msvcp90.dll msvcr90.dll = msvcr90.dll vhelper.dll = vhelper.dll vlite.exe = vLite.exe << vLite.ini vlitecmd.exe = vlitecmd.exe WebSite.url = WebSite.url << wimgapi.dll As you see, there are more files i added to the (right) modified version.
  5. In the case of vLiting a 64bit-OS vLite will only be fully functional on a 64bit-Host. I heard about effort in a 64bit-VM running on a 32bit-Host, but i never tried this by myself.
  6. Sounds curious, but you maybe give it a try: Change the order of .NET-Installs, so that .NET 1.1 and SP is installed after .NET 3.5.
  7. @Mod Please move Topic to: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=88 @Topic I unpacked the Driver and build (with "VirtualFloppyDrive") an Image of the Disc you need for F6. Because this is the correct Driver to integrate with nLite, here it is: http://www.file-upload.net/download-148721...XP_X86.rar.html Don`t use F6 anymore, if you have integrated the Driver with nLite. You said you got an Update-XPCD, which needs Win98 preinstalled. There`s no need to install Win98 first, just change CD when you are asked for. Point to I386-Folder, done. Then change back CD and go on with XP-Setup. Edit: While I was writing Topic was moved, THX. First suggestion outdated (but now it`s not moved to the Drivers-Forum...)

    Delete Addon

That`s no big thing - you can load your "Last Session.ini" and start again - and leave the unwanted Addons out. To take Addons out of the sources is possible with SVCPACK-Addons by delete them from the folder and edit the "svcpack.inf" - but it`s better to start a fresh XPCD (so you can integrate latest hotfixes as well).

    nlite & xp sp3

Well, I beat for this working on a previous nlited source, too. If you`ve got a clean XPCD (what SP doesn`t matter), you better start with this and nLite right from the beginning. A XPCD created with PE-Builder isn`t a good choice to work on as a source. Sounds like you integrated drivers with nLite and then press F6 on installation. You mustn`t do that - your drivers are on CD, there`s no need for Disk. It crashes the drivers, as you see.
  10. Right click > View > Show in Groups (i think so, i`ve got a german system).
  11. Do you cab your modified "SHELL32.DLL" to "SHELL32.DL_" before you copy it into I386? If don`t, do you delete the original "SHELL32.DL_"?
  12. I burn ISO to CD/DVD in 9of10 cases, UltraISO is my favorite. Only for burning Audio-CDs I use Nero6.
  13. On which OS you are running nLite? There are still problems mit the Key if you are running nLite under Vista (or Win7) and slipstream SP3.
  14. I really don`t know exactly - i never tried it. I would slipstream SP3 and try on that source.
  15. Yes, it should be set to "Automatic" by default. In your "LS.ini" are no different settings. Is it set to "Automatic"? If it is not running, can you start the service manually? If not, is there a message?
  16. The red/blue numbers got to be correct - you can change them for testing. 55274 - XP Professional OEM 55285 - XP Professional 55661 - XP Professional Retail The last 3 digits got to be 011 (later in the original thread someboby mentioned that it can be 000 too. I never done that by myself, so just give it a try. Make a backup of the original file "setupp.ini" please.
  17. In the slipstreamed install in your VM.
  18. So the files got to be in "WINDOWS\Recources" on the fresh install, too. What happens if you open one of the .theme-files? And what about the service "Designs" - is it running?
  19. Yes, looks like Upgrade-CD. Maybe you can change that in your XPCD, have a look at THIS. Because of i´m from Germany (Admin @ German-nLite) it`s a link to our German-nLite-Forum. If you got problems with understanding, i`ll help you with translation.
  20. Yes. You didn`t attach your "Last Session.ini", that`s wrong. Why do you think it`s an Upgrade-Version?
  21. Let`s have a look on your created XPCD. Is there a subfolder "I386\NLVST" with more files and folders in it?
  22. @Zayne The themes you`re including are fully functional on your running system (from where they are taken)? Is the service "Designs" running in your Testinstall? BTW: Your .NET-Addon is taken from HERE.
  23. I use EasyBCD for this - works on Win7 as well.
  24. You can cry, you can shout, you can push after 3 hours... But why do you believe anybody will do the work for you while you relax? Feel free to use the forum and read first. And don`t shout at me.
  25. Try to change the country in your MSN-settings (you can change back later).
