  2. Hi all, thank you for the reply, The problem was the CD source. I have genuine Corporate Edition CD now, have it lited and its OK. But when I install the lited Corp Edt, it generated pop up saying rdmupdgs.exe cannot continue or something, and it say MSCAT32.DLL is missing. But if I click OK, it continues the installation until finish. Any comments? Also please help comments what consideration to make a successful Business Contact Manager 2007 installation, becos it failed. It generated SQL server error 29528 someone suggesting it because of non-existant of HTTP SSL http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlserverfaq/archive/2009/04/02/sql-server-2005-sp2-setup-might-fail-with-the-error-error-29528-the-setup-has-encountered-an-unexpected-error-while-updating-security-settings-on-http-services.aspx When I try to install BCM 2007 in original CD, it was successful, so I'm suspecting something has to do with things I removed... Thank you very much...
  3. I did try to build my own XP Pro SP2 x64, My intent is to remove lots of things When I finished, i found out that Quick Launch didn't shows up, When I go to Program Files and Program Files (x86) They contain nothing other than Common Files, No Outlook Express, Terminal Services also didn't shows up in my Services, IE and others also didn't shows up in Start Menu, also no WMP (which some examples of things that I didn't remove them) I'm not sure why is the main cause of this, I lite them in my Lited XP Pro SP3 32bit, Somehow the resulting OS installation was error, and I don't think because of CD burning problem, I also did try to install from the base CD, and found out they correctly installed, the base CD was lited but from the BASE CD SESSION.INI (also attached) I don't feel this as contributing to the problem, Please help, I'm not a techie guy on this, but simply nlite user, I have lited XP 32 bit many times, but never encounter like this before, Thank you, LAST SESSION.INI BASE CD SESSION.INI
  4. its working now, thanks for the reply
  5. yes, what else... i tried to update the same pic u mention, but was failed, after i explain what i did at my second post, it ok now... is my engish clear ? before i did the thing at my second post, the window say "an error has occured ... ... " its the same normal(usual) word when u failed to synchronize, but never mention rpc thing (if i disabe Windows Time service at services.msc and when i try to update then its begin saying about rpc thing) but its gone now, and its working just like ur pic above... at my first post, i tought i attached my last .ini ? its there... u dont see my attachment ? i never integrate something with nlite, i always work with windows xp sp0, becos i use very old pc, yes i use a good source (fresh copy of cd), i even compare and recheck if its contain the same as the cd source, becos actualy my first iso was failed to install becos of some files was corrupted... (bad cd) but after i redo the copy and recheck the source before use it for nlite, its ok
  6. after i follow this step: (from http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ows+time\) (executed from cmd.exe) net start w32time net stop w32time w32tm /unregister (failed with my xp sp0) w32tm /register net start w32time and then reboot, the synchronization is succesfull... i dont sure if its becos of my effort, or something, i use nLite-1.4.9.1 if im correct i did remove something that say "time of day, echo, bla bla bla...", but Windows Time at service category at nlite surely i never remove them, becos i need the feature... Thank you.
  7. I just make my customized XP, i see my time synchronization unable to synchronize when i try to update them (the timezone at the right of taskbar), i have Windows Time service started (and not removed), do i forgeting something else ? my last customized xp was ok, if i can remember i did remove something that to do with "echo, time of day, ..." is this also needed ? thank you, LAST_SESSION.INI

    nLruntime

Where is the nLruntime download site ? As far as i can remember like a year ago, i have nLruntimeR3.exe downloaded from this site, but i cant find it anymore at download site now. What happen to it ? i have nLruntimeR3.exe file, but checking to this site for any updates, before use it to make naked windows 2000 pro. Is the main program now have to use the official runtime only ? Can i use my nLruntimeR3.exe with new version of nLite 1.4.9.1 ? Im still enjoying my own-customized naked-xp now with p3 550hz, 512mb..... its great, thanks for the effort. Thank you.
  11. i have not try other than "create image" option, i rather ask 1st, and save my blank dvd, - Is nLite image creation have multisession option ? - If i "create image" 1st, and then add something to the ISO file, its still bootable right ? - If i use 3rd party burner, i dont need to set bootable again right ? becos the bootable option is already written in ISO when i make it at nLite "create image" ?? thank you, searched: multisession
  12. i forget to askk other important question, which i though i already ask with 1st post, but actually its not complete. and may be not to clear enough, my english is bad What is the difference between removing and just disabling it in terms of performance ? this is the proper question, i already know, disabling service, of course i can get it enable at some time, but before ur answer, i never sure about what is nLite do when remove service, but now im sure about it, yes im asking this, becos im abit uncomfortable when doing customization with nLite, especially at services section, thank you,
  13. What is the difference between removing and disabling service ? what i meant with removing is, removing it from the nLite customization... im really scared to remove services, since i believe i just can disable and keep them, and somehow (which i pesimistic) if i need them i can just enable it if there is not much difference, then it would just ok to keep them and have a performance by disabling it right ?? thank you, Searched: remove disable service removing disabling services
