  1. I have a small request to make. Would it be possible to add an option to hide the HotTracking animation behind the taskbar buttons when you use a themed taskbar? it would make theme development loads easier.
  2. It's that way by default.
  3. Nightly may have been the key here. Nightlies are unstable/have incompatibilities that a non-beta software wouldn't.
  4. I have mentioned it, as well as about 10 other users.
  5. Detected as a trojan by 2 pretty obscure AV softwares, hardly an issue.
  6. I found a bug: if you right click on the very lower left corner of the start button with the "Combine Win-X" option enabled, the menu shows in the upper left. Also, I have a feature suggestion: please let us disable the hot tracking effect.
  7. Attached is a shortcut to the Personalization panel in Control Panel... Yes, it still exists. PersonalizationShortcut.zip EDIT: alternatively, you could make a new shortcut with the following command line: explorer.exe ::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{ED834ED6-4B5A-4BFE-8F11-A626DCB6A921}

Awesome. Bit of a feature request (if at all possible): could you add an option to remove hottracking of taskbar buttons? it gets annoying when trying to theme the taskbar buttons.
  9. I just noticed the Experimental Builds topic was locked... I wonder if BM's getting sick of people hounding him about a new build.
  10. RS1 is still on Fast ring so don't hold your breath. MAYBE when it gets on Slow ring, but again, don't hold your breath.
  11. Try re-toggling autohide.
  12. You may have to restart explorer/log off and log back on to make them show up.
  13. I can fix that too. Search for the extension "Hide Menubars" in Firefox extensions. Show Menubar. It worked for me.
  14. Install the extension Stylish, then create a new style. Paste this in: #main-window[windowtype="navigator:browser"] { background-color: transparent !important; } Bam. Done.
  15. Just use the latest version if you have 8.1.
  16. I've been using http://rammichael.com/getting-brighter-colors-in-windows-10 to set my colours for Win10 and I must say it's great.
  17. There's a method that involves replacing the theme server files (themeui, uxinit, uxtheme) with RTM versions and then using UXstyle to use themes.
  18. Just got an eMail that Windowblinds for Win10 is released AND it has taskbar BUTTON skinning. I wonder how they managed to do it...
  19. No layout files? Use the win8rp.png.layout provided with aeroglass, works fine for me.
  20. I found a way to get the title text centered as it was in Win8 just using a .layout file with the default atlas. use this one line in your .layout file: 46;0;3602=2300,23,10,10 and captions will be centered, even when resized, etc. Obviously, this only works with no caption glow bitmap set in-atlas and the AG settings set to default for caption glow.

  22. I've just been thinking of a (probably) doable idea: a "lite" version of Glass8 without the glass part. Hear me out here. In addition to Aero Glass, Glass8 provides enhancements like: Custom theme aliases without a custom themeRestoration of caption glow like in 7/8.0Fixes for Win10-specific bugs (inactive frames deflated by 1px, etc.)Resizing of caption buttons independent of title heightMore that I missed (probably)It'd be nice for people who just want these features without the glass part (some themes look better without glass, but need the fixed Glass8 provides to work) to have a stripped-down version of Glass8 without the Glass. It'd also be nice if this version was the "free" version (ie. no "please donate" nags) since there's no glass, but provides the fixes that Glass8 does. It'd be a great resource for themers like myself. I know you're busy with getting the Win10 bugs taken care of, but it's just a simple concept I thought I'd throw out there so you could maybe mull it around in your head a bit. I'm no developer, and I'm well aware how long software like this takes to perfect.
