I can't say about 3300 but nlite didn't work with sp3 3282. The security centre still is needed. It's been long since last update of nlite, so for stability I have been sticking with 3244 till nlite issue is solved.

I got 66.14. Not bad I think. Before I getting my first PC in 1996, I learned to type on a type writer, that was way back in 1995 .

I stayed with XP. Will upgrade to Windows 7 ie, xp for another couple of years! Your choice would be depend upon money! Good vista needs it!

@nuhi Thanks, firstly I missed your earlier advisory, but later I used it with security centre selected. But still I found my bits of problems like, my raid drives keep getting installed even after second reboot and theme not getting applies. I think these are minor problems, which will be taken care of. Thanks and merry christmas!

@nuhi I also seem to have a lot of problems while nliting sp3 3264. The comodo firewall addon v.276 didn't work and many other things were broken, like no iexlporer, no quick launch etc. (Addons may need a more refining as you said). But when I replicated same lastsession.ini with earliest sp3, ie, 3205 (as I have deleted my 3244 sp repository), I found I had no problem whatsoever which I faced using sp3-3264. I even tried not using IE7 and WMP11 addons also. Last_Session_3205_.ini

I am in a same boat as you. I cannot ditch my creative audigy2zx platinum pro for vista, because vista is full of troubles for my audio card. Though the issue you mentioned, that vista froze (in your case bios related) never really happened with me. I think for me better deal is to stick to XP and use Creative card. The quality of sound using realtek doesn't appease me that much. Realtek supports eax but the quality is still questionable. So may be there is light in the future and creative gives us better drivers for our cards!

I have another issue with nlite and sp3 3205. When I don't nlite the build I get SP3 3205 shown up in the system properties/winver or by any other method. But using nlite and installing a stripped down version gives me system property as version 3093 of sp3. The branches.inf file of sp3 indicates a stamp BUILDTIMESTAMP = "20070901.012633" Any comments?

.net is almost inevitable for any xp machine, so your switching from nsis to c# won't be that worrysome. I hope you will keep bringing best for XP for times to come as you must observe that with sp3 of xp due in 2008, the clientage of xp is not going to fade for a long time. But, your plan to release xpize after vize 1.0 is really a point of concern, so all I can hope is that vize final build is released soon.

I got a quad to run with 2gb ram and pcie 2600xt 512mb on windows xp. It is not a gaming machine but I intend to keep it for sometime now.
