  1. Eh cd 3 can easily fit on cd2 (575MB total with 125MB spare), so why did cd2 it cut off so early n way before the 700mb size?
  2. try copying the files manually into the system32 folder (the files needed are in the files folder). Works for me though did it say files where copied successfully and do both of the say "working" if so then you've removed "Application Experience", if they are already greayed out when opened it means the files are already there. I think the program is abit to old now to fix some possible errors, so just copy them manually from the files folder. If you do choose to reinstall keep "Error Reporting" too

    disabling sfc

for me it just gets in the way and i dont modify files or anything, IMO not very necessary to have n i dont need it even if it didnt speed up installation i'll still disable it.
  4. try splitting them at a highter iso size because i think vlite asks you how much you want each cd 650mb, 700mb, etc... try 730mb. also whats the size of the 3rd iso, cos if its 20mb then put each cd as 710 or something like that.
  5. nope. just type it in a new topic, but best just to use this one. if you do use this one dont forget to rename the topic so it matches your suggestion(s). Lego
  6. copy bootfix.bin from the original XP source (i386 folder) to your nlited version, then remake ISO and then your done
  7. There is a tutorial, Integration of nVRaid drivers into XP, W2k and W2k3 (32-bit) Integration of nvRaid drivers into XPx64 and W2k3x64 Do a search on nlite forum
  8. preset (last session)? there is a certain hotfix which causes that, its somewhere in this forum
  9. Good Work, so is there anything else we can try n help with? (to do with what you originally posted) Good Luck!

    disabling sfc

I've been disabling SFC ever since it was available in nLite and never had a single problem with it.
  11. 1. So basically what is in that zip file is the same that is on my install CD just updated, minus the audio drivers? Its just the drivers for your hard drives to work & appear in xp setup, no audio... it also has your RAID so you can integrate them just incase and its safe to integrate both your non-RAID and RAID drivers so why not 2. Do I also need to add the Nforce, Gforce, and USB to the slipstream? What else will I need? Well thats upto but for your HDD's there all in the .zip, everything else like Graphics, Sound, etc... is optional and is your choice and can easily install them after installation but personally i prefer to integrate them using nlite lol. Link - Click the link to go to the webpage with all your drivers including onboard audio, USB, LAN if you wanted them too just make sure you change OS from "All OS" to XP (the ASUS servers are slow so it will take time to donwload what you want n no need to download the IDE/RAID drivers as they are included in thre zip)
  12. Your Drivers Ok, click the link above and download the .zip it has your IDE, SATA & RAID drivers. There's no installers, setups, junk with these and can safely just integrate them all. On the nlite drivers section select mutliple drivers and select the "Drivers" folder what was in the .zip When prompted select textmode for all the prompts, then continue as normal (remove stuff, integrate hotfixes, etc...)burn to disk boot up from CD and hopefully your HDD will be listed EDIT: Oh here is the link to your mobo downloads. drivers, manuals, BIOS updates, that sorta stuff. Read the manual here. Best of luck Lego
  13. You dont have raid enabled Says it all Also on my mobo dunno if its like it on yours aswell, but when RAID is on the i dont see the HDD listed in the BIOS screen like your above picture also on boot up i get a screen like "Press F10 to configure RAID" which does not appear when RAID is off EDIT: I'll download you drivers and put the stuff in a .zip for you, ill make a new reply so you know i've done
  14. Same here, everything has worked great, havent had a single virus/spyware/adware, etc... To me Antivirus are useless and slow down the computer for no reason at all. Then again i know what to download and what not to go on, where as normal everyday home users just dont know what to look out for (no offence to any 'everyday home users') and techies (IT Professionals, etc..) know what to look out for and know how to fix a problem without a need of an antivirus. I know the feeling Haha, but then the virus would be made for the next popular OS P.S. Hope the reg thing works
  15. There will probably be a registery entry i.e. EnableFirewall = 1 (DWORD) which is how it checks if its enabled or not so you might be able to get away with just adding the one entry but will have to find out what to add Pretty much the same way Security Center detects if its on or not (correct me if im wrong), this link might help, you will have to add the missing keys. To safe time just download the reg file below, if it dont work then you can just delete it using regedit (location same as quote). Lego
  16. Take a print screen of device manager like my example below, pretty much the same in XP the "NVIDIA STRIPE" means im on RAID 0, also in the Storage Controllers some of the drivers have the word "RAID" in them.
  17. Ye i had this problem once or twice, the only thing i had installed was Windows Defender, the first time i experienced i just got a .NET error but after i reinstalled my computer (with vista again) it worked, still does ,except when integrating IE7 (which nuhi already knows about) and actually got abit further when i disable Windows Defender but the IE7 was on the last page where it was actually doing the integration. At first it worked fine when adding hotfixes to the list but it didnt after i had a power cut during the installation of Visual Studio 2005 which was on the stage of installing some .NET stuff. EDIT: I don't use anything like norton, sohpos, zone alarm, avg and i just use WD
  18. ok sorry about that, re-uploaded and should work now

Jeez wasnt expecting anything specific just something like 1-2 weeks....
