  1. JaCk0es, that installer was last updated on February 17, 2007 as Annita says, redownload and try again... i have fixed this error already. Annita, once again, thank you for taking the time to post
  2. Exactly how i feel about this poll. ( I have no need for the addon maker) I won't vote because each of the other 3 has their attributes and downfalls. and I use all 3 of them for different purposes as required. shark
  3. Have I mentioned recently how good it feels to be thanked for sharing? You both are quite welcome. Glad you're finding my work useful. and Thank You for taking the time to post. shark
  4. For FFDshow tryout builds.... clsid builds use a newer version of inno setup. (latest) Other persons builds, xxl, will extract with the current UniExtractor (so far) We'll have to wait for inno unpacker to get up to date. I use these tryout builds in my codec package. Good stuff coming from them. shark
  5. For languages other than English, you will need to download the tutorial and create your own installer. If elajua, a trusted source, has a spanish version to share with original files I'll be more than happy to share it on my repository. shark
  6. These issues are dealt with in the newly updated tutorial. shark

  8. If you want to recreate the MSI as a whole, i did see a thread here once, I believe i saw it in the addons section of nlite, that did explain a process of disasembling the msi, adding your patched files, and recreating the msi. I have no knowledge of this process so you will have to search the forum and find the relevant thread yourself. I also remember it used xml files, this may assist your search criteria. shark
  9. The installers on my repository have been updated. shark
  10. There is a thread here that explains the creation of a 7zip switchless installer. The information you seek can be found there. Tutorial updated March 05, 2007 to address disabling the file sharing folder without that action causing useless shortcuts. shark
  11. * topics merged * shark
  12. nice work dd. Its also good to see others using my work within thier own shark
  13. I'll consider it - time permitting, and ONLY if it can be done with Orca. I see no need to create a tutorial for an expensive product like AdminStudio etc. because in my opinion, if you bought it, you should probably already know how to use it. Dutch version updated March 4, 2007 shark

  15. Could you 2 please check to see if you have any files named EWH32.* in the folder... %ProgramFiles%\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\plug_ins ... Thanks shark
  16. The codecs being used by all 32bit players are the same. Have you tried the Vista Codec Package? If you're going to give it a go, please remove any codec related installations 1st, including programs like PowerDVD, Nero, Quicktime and RealPlayer. shark
  17. To the best of my knowledge, you can't recreate a single MSI from the AIP files. Either use winrar or 7zip to create a single exe. (like the file i distribute for English users) shark
  18. My outdated Logitech Quickcam Express wasnt supported either. I bought a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX for $20 canadian (sale price - not regular price) which is about £10 I think and it is supported and works great. The quality of the cam is 10x that of the old one too. shark
  19. I network (using wireless) Vista x64 on my Desktop computer with my daughters laptop (also wireless) running XP SP2 seamlessly. Nothing out of the ordinary to report. Setup was simple, straight forward, and everything worked from the get go. shark
  20. Inno has released a new installer and extraction fails with files created by it. log: Signature detected: Inno Setup Setup Data (5.1.10) This is not directly supported, but i'll try to unpack it as version 5107 ; Version detected: 5110 Unpacking failed. This version is not supported. shark
  21. Do you want to watch your favorite video in MediaCenter? I have created a standalone installation pack of 64bit codecs. It can also be used in an unattended installation if that is your need. These codecs will only be utilized by 64bit software such as MediaCenter and MovieMaker in Vista Ultimate x64 distributions... Available here shark
  22. Put the multiple commands into a batchfile and have the installer execute that instead. shark
  23. I don't know what apatch is capable of. I didn't write that software. I have no idea what patch program would modify this file or for what purpose. The statement about msidrcl40.dll is directed to those that have that file patched. If you do not have it patched, ignore the statement. Bottom line is, IF you have that file patched, it doesn't get placed in the main directory like other patched files do. shark
  24. You're Welcome,Posted. shark
  25. You're Welcome.I've had a few PM's asking for that msi from my repository and only today realized this thread was causing the PM's. shark
