You are getting these errors becuse you are trying to install it on an already inplace machine where you have previously installed Adobe Reader 8. The installers I distribute are meant for unattended installations. Try the installation on a clean machine (VMware etc.) and see if you still get the error. shark

I downloaded a previous version from Ryan's site. It worked great. Thanks. To bad a person needs to signup at a BBS just to download a file they want. To me, its worth signing up because I've tried it already... but that doesnt speak for everyone. shark

A solution you may consider is visiting my repository for ready made switchless installers. There is one for the Flash program, and a separate installer for the firefox plugin. shark

If that file doesnt do it, you will need to look into the tutorial posted in the 1st post and create it from scratch on your own. It will tell you how to modify the msi using your native locale installation. The tutorial applies to ALL languages. It is also near a beginners level to accomplish this task. 99% of the files I share are shared because I have a personal interest in creating them. Often, they are requested applications by clients I service. Since i have no need for the assistant, I have not looked into it, and will not be doing anything with it in the future. My current goal is to cutback on what I maintain... shark

I am unable to test languages other than English, you will have to assist me to troubleshoot the problem. Can you give me a translation? .. Does that say 'Beyond Adobe Reader' ? shark

Try replacing fsshext.8.1.0178.00.dll with the version from your native installation. shark

you're welcome Then i suggest you move those keys concerned from the regfile to your batchfile and make the entries similar to this:REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\ahead\Installation\Families\Nero 7" /V "TargetPath" /D "%ProgramFiles%\Nero\Nero 7" /f The above command will pickup the program files path from the users computer and place it into the registry in expanded format. Seeing this is a work in progress, thought i'd throw in a few cents worth.... "C:\\Program Files\\Nero\\Nero 7\\Core\\" should be; "%ProgramFiles%\\Nero\\Nero 7\\Core\\" and... "C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Ahead\\Lib\\" should be; "%CommonProgramFiles%\\Ahead\\Lib\\" and... %USERPROFILE%\AppData\ should be; %AppData%\ The above settings will work better for multilingual use. They should be applied to both your batchfile and your regfile. shark

I would definitely recommend RogueSpears site although he does require you to sign up to his forums to be able to access the files to control leeching. He is a long standing member of this community and has my highest regard concerning his abilities. shark

Instead of pointing to setup.exe, try pointing to pro11.msi shark

If you use a Professional serial number instead of the MCE serial, it will install Professional. shark

***BUMP*** I asked this question a few months back and still have not found a resolve. Does anyone know how to set the Program Access and Defaults to Microsoft as default so that Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, and Windows Media Player are accessable by default on a fresh install? shark

It's a very simple equation. warez=banned. I downloaded your postings, found them to contain illegal serial numbers. End of story. Now if you were to include a TRIAL serial number, the program will pop up a message that you are using a 30day trial. shark
