Don't want to shatter your hopes, but if you've deleted the emails from the "deleted" folder, chances are you'll never see those emails again. There is no such thing as a "hidden backup". The PST file is encrypted, and once you delete emails, they are deleted from the .PST file. The "recover deleted items" is for when you are working in an Exchange environment. In Exchange you can set a "retention time"... a period of time where deleted emails are still held on the server. Your best chance is to ask people to resend the emails to you. Regards, 'nuff
  3. Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Connections [Tab] > and select "Never dial a connection". HTH, 'nuff
  4. Is the drive holding your MP3z formatted in NTFS or FAT32. It needs to be NTFS to set permissions. Regards, 'nuff
  5. I thought so too. However this is not correct. In fact there IS a VLK version of Windows XP Home, and it does NOT require activation. http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=312 Windows XP Home (SP1a) VLK/Corporate/Volume - X1AHVOL_EN and here http://www.magiciso.com/FAQ/FAQ0004.htm English Windows XP Home (SP2) VLK/Corporate/Volume VRMHVOL_EN Regards, 'nuff
  6. sorry mate, you're right. didn't pay attention to that. Looked around for you some, but no dice. Sorry!
  7. Double click the Time in the lower right hand of your desktop. Select the Tab "Internet Time" and make sure "Automatically synchronize with an Internet time Server" it is checked.
  8. Try upgrading your BIOS for your MoBo to the latest version.
  9. Here ya go, lad! http://www.bootcd.us/BartPE_Plugin_Details/340/
  10. Give Bart's PE a try: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ It has a Keyboard Layout plugin:
  11. As long as you know its a joke. Quake 3 is **** fast. I love the speed of the game. Played it the first 2 years EVERY night for at least 2 hours. After that a bit less, but I still play it occasionally, to release some steam. If you're interested we could hook up on my (or a public) server and I can show you some tricks like bunny-hopping (=strafe jumping), rocket jumps, and plasma climbs! I can't wait for the release of Q4. I have all original boxes starting from Q1, and for Q3 I have the limited edition tin box. Yes... I'm a Quake fanboy! Hope you enjoy it!
  12. Thank you very much Kelsenellenelvian. I'm rather busy right now, but once I have more time, I'll start up a new thread regarding my problem. I haven't gotten down to trying the work around suggested by Mango earlier in this thread: Posted by Mango: I'll give this a try first, as it looks promising! Thanks for all your hard work Kel!!! Kind regards, eNuffSaid
  13. We're not saying the problem is you. We're saying the problem lies somewhere between the keyboard and the chair.
  14. Thanks for your update. Hope I'm not turning out to be a pain in the bum, I was wondering is the UNC path bug on your TODO list? Thanks. 'nuff
  15. There's a great idea! Thanks so much for thinking with me. I'll give it a try and let you know. Dank u wel! 'nuffsaid
  16. Thanks for this info. Didn't know they were out!
  17. Hey Mango, Thanks for that, although I was aware of it. I have said in an other thread that that's not really an option for me. I had my WPI 3.5 version all setup with UNC paths (about 50 apps) only to find out it didn't work; hoping someone would find a fix soon. It seems I'll be sticking with good old batch files for now. Cheers, 'nuff
  18. So I take it the UNC path problem is not fixed? (eg. \\servername\folder\app.exe)
  19. Hi, I was referring to the problem with the leading "\\" in an UNC path. When I enter a UNC path in WPI (eg. \\servername\apps\appname.exe) WPI will remove one of the backslashes. Others were asking about it in this thread. ButlerKevinD expressed it nicely in this post in the same thread. I know a workaround is to map a drive. Unfortunately that's not an option for me. Your work is much appreciated! Kind regards, eNuffSaid
  20. Great work. I'll be upgrading! Will this version allow for UNC paths? I like to run all my apps from a centralized location.
  21. Good work Siginet. This sounds like a fantastic tool! Will give it a try.
  22. Hi, Welcome to MSFN. Plenty articles available on Google: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/34 Use google and search for bios serial number Most mainboard manufacturers (if not all) have one included in the BIOS. regards, 'nuff
  23. When you boot your Windows XP CD and it come to the screen where you get to select on which partition you want to install WXP, choose to DELETE that particular option ("D") and then select the option to install windows on the UNPARTIONED space. You will be asked if you want to format that partition in FAT32 of NTFS and wether you woul like to format "quick" or "full". Le voila! Overigens, welkom bij MSFN (by the way... welcome to MSFN)
