I was looking for a file manager only. Explorer is giving me BS. Its been having issues with copy/paste with large[r] files. I didn't consider shell replacement too, but I'll mess around with that when I get a chance. Starting out with xplorer2. I'll see how it behaves over the next few days.

Did you say 2500+? Is it the mobile version? If so, you can overclock it to XP 3200+ speeds... if you memory/motherboard allows it. More info with CPU-Z would be helpful.

Have you tried local stores? Private ones? Where I live, I buy from a local store whenever I can. Much lower prices than bestbuy and the rest, gives me cash discounts, and they have ridiculous return policies! Try to find a good local place for all your computer needs. Some place you can trust. Maybe they have stuff left in stock.

LOL. And you want to flash the bios instead? If you do a bios flash wrong, chances are your card is garbage. If you overclock too much, it may show artifacts and crash.. but not fry. That's only from extended overclocking and high temps.

Torque is used to accelerate dude . depends on the torque/rpm ratio, i was just using that as an example, not to get into a discussion on cars Doesn't matter. Torque = acceleration. Little torque = horrible acceleration. And the GT looks like it has ALOT of it. I'd like to see what the GTS refresh is like, supposed to be faster since GTS > GT. Will they add video decode?

Any good replacements for the default explorer in XP? I'm looking for something very lite, as many features as the standard one. More is better, but it has to be very easy on the system. Suggestions?

How do I customize the common task bar in XP? Any way? I'd like to modify the list of places. At the top. Where it says 'other places'. It would be nice to change the other stuff too.

Right now I'm using foxit. But its having problems rendering some graphs/pictures in a few pdfs. I'm looking for Reader 7.09 lite (I think thats the last of the 7 series.) and the last of the 6 series, whichever that is. I need basic functionality, and speed because of my hardware. I can't install Reader 8 series bloat on it.

I reccomend MPlayer with SMplayer frontend. It plays all the formats under the sun. Its got a tiny footprint and it does all those things like sharpen, postprocessing, soften...etc. They're not adjustable though. Its either soften, or no soften. I like Lord_Moulder's build from Doom9. He puts it together in one package and its also optimized for a few CPU types, so you get a little bit of 'free' performance. Its even great to sync devices like iPods, WMA certified players and etc. I don't like version 5.5 though. Its a little too much. But it still beats the rest, no contest.

Don't worry, if you have enough stuff open it can reach 500MB. On the high end mine uses about 320MB, with alot of tabs open. But why would you want to max it out? Just close the tab if you're not using it.

Well at least Office Integrator 0.6b worked for me. Its nice that it works with Office 2003 versions other than just Pro. Its just annoying how you have to have an active internet connection with it. I really hope Slipstreamer can support Office 2003 Standard sometime.

I don't have the Pro version, just Standard. How do I slipstream SP3 then?

So... is it supposed to work with Office 2003 Standard? This is what I got after using 1.3 beta 2: Box 2 contains the address of the empty folder (New Folder) I am trying to do an admin install to. It won't let me slipsteam without doing an admin install, and it won't let me do an admin install!!

No. Hmm. Whenever I go through the customizer with nLite, there's an option to remove the framework.

Does server 2003 include .net framework 2.0 & 1.1 built in? Because whenever I need to run apps that use either, it asks me to download off the MS site.

I need uodates for server 2003 x86 after SP2. However, the Windows Update list shows me a bunch of things. How do I only get the ones after SP2? This utility also needs a Server 2003 x64 list of downloads too. I only found Server 2003 x86. Also, I just wanted to add: This is a great Utility. It's a great replacement for Autopatcher.

I need the hotfixes for Server 2003 that came after SP2. Where can I get them? I want individual files so I can slipstream them into the installation disc.
