i don't think the control panel itself, but you can open the items inside control panel. to find out what to type in, do a search for *.cpl for instance: acessibility is access.cpl desk.cpl for display properties. etc.

renzki you never confirmed that you disabled the xp firewal. you stated that in network connections, there is a lock symbol on the network connection. that means the firewall is enabled. if you right click on the connection, go to properties, then click on the avanced tab, uncheck the firewall. and if you are crimping your own cables, use this: http://www.aptcommunications.com/ncode.htm hope this helps!

i believe duration would only apply to audio files and dimensions would apply to picture files.

shuntang, if you look around for web hosting prices, it is worth it to pay a couple dollars every month to have a site hosted if you are going to have a lot hosted. i have a basic site, with a flash mp3 player and a forum. i'd never have the bandwidth to host something like that and setting up mysql and php is a headache for novices (like me). i would recommend going with a hosting service such as emax. i like them cause of low prices and unlimited mysql packages. now i just need to sign up.... lol

you are correct in that it is a driver file. removing reference to it would probably be a huge task. what i am trying to do is compare my dell cd with a retail cd and note the differences. then i can formulate a plan. thing is, i just haven't had the time yet. i've been busy trying to get a php/mysql script to work stupid thing won't work right.... anyways, you may wanna start there.

well if it's not suggested, then i won't do it. guess i need to find a host that will give more than one mysql database. does anyone know if the interface that emax gives is easy for creating mysql databases? im a mysql noob.

i have a forum on my site that already uses the mysql database that is included with my hosting package. i have a webpost utility i'd like to use with teamspeak and it also need to use a mysql table. since the forum and the webpost utility have settings called "prefix table with" where i think it puts that setting on the table, could i run both of these on the same database without problem? thanks in advance for you help!!!

i looked in my driver.cab on my dell oem cd. it has a usbohci.sys and usbuhci.sys. in my system32/drivers directory there is a usbuhci.sys, but no usbohci.sys. could dell have renamed this file for some reason? can anyone out there help look into this? i don't know what else to do and i'd like a resolution to this as well as jpatto. or now since dvds are so cheap you could use one of those and not be limited by the size of a cd. i have been able to put a TON of Apps on a dvd and still not fill it up. of course, that doesn't include any games i might want to install. just your basic windows office nero alcohol acrobat im programs photoshop antivirus P2P and anything else i left out. I'm so glad dvd burners came around!

i make sub boxes all the time. all they did was take any material, a sheet, a flannel shirt, cotton t shirt, anything. you put it around something. like a cube made of wood. then you get fiberglass resin and you brush it on the material. it hardens very quickly and makes the material very strong. are you going to make a custom box or something? i don't know of any "instructions" for this. you simply get the shape you want by internal supports (wood, aluminum, etc) and you drape the material how you want it to set. then brush on the resin. that easy.

just got the game. i installed it. that went fine. when i try to load a neighborhood i get a graphical mess. a visit to the ea website said to update my graphic drivers. been there done that. i made sure my card was on the minimum requirements list. my system is well above the minimum requirements and still it won't load this f***ing game!!!! can anyone provide me with anything else i might try? thanks in advance!

from what i understand tablet pc is windows xp pro + tablet stuff. you would have to have the tablet stuff and know how it was integrated with xp pro.

when i modded my case i used a metal blade in a jig saw. then i used a file to get any burrs on the case. i only use a dremel if i am cutting a smaller size hole such as a hole for a 5.25 drive. or a toggle switch.
