  1. Serpent/Newmoon latest Versions 20250617: Restore Previous Session, Recently Closed Tabs and Recently Closed Windows seem to be not functional and the History and the Bookmarks created on XP+ can't be used on ME/98 anymore - now empty. So Library could be almost completely broken on Win ME now. Probably the passwords aren't saved anymore and auto fill is broken, too. Maybe even more broke. The next days will show that.

  2. After months of inactivity, I've finally tried running new versions of Microsoft 365 on Windows 8.1. I managed to install v2507 (the latest beta) on Windows 8.1. This is the 30th post-EOL version that can run on Windows 8.1 without an Extended Kernel (EOL: 2301, no ESU program). Windows 8.1 definitely benefits from newer APIs compared to Windows 7. 3. Many thanks! I'll check it out and get back to you! In contrast to those other *allegedly* English speaking members, you understood what I want very well!

  4. Are you familiar with the term "Unexpire" certain version flags?

  5. This is all very interesting, but I explicitly declared, I only need this browser for 7 WITHOUT the Telemetry tracking Stuff Pack 1 (SP1).

  6. @roytam1 For reproducing this issue, please read this post here: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183923-extensions-and-custom-buttons-for-uxp-browsers-corrections-modifications-adjustments-and-special-recommendations/?do=findComment&comment=1273327 Thanks in advance!

  7. I can't really say whether the problem also occurs in Pale Moon (32-bit or 64-bit ), as I don't use this browser. It was also just a guess. In any case, the Speed Dial 0.9.6.18 and Tab Utilities 2.1.2 extensions in the latest New Moon 28 32-bit release definitely break the session restore function on my Windows XP system. The Session Manager extension only generates some errors in the Browser Console but is still working so far.

  8. Although your question is of rhetorical nature, I just want to understand what happened. The reported extensions worked for many years properly. So what is the cause for their sudden breakage?

  9. To me, these two statements contradict each other. Not at all. UXP browsers are evolving, but many old extensions are not. Conclusio ultima: These old extensions must be adapted or can otherwise no longer be used. Same applies to old, complete themes which are no longer compatible.

  10. Personally, I do not use any complete themes in UXP browsers but they have always been responsible for problems. Without regular theme updates, they don't really make sense. And these no longer exist. When using the most recent releases of UXP browsers without these problematic extensions I reported in my previous posts, the internal, native session restore function is actually working properly. So you don't have to stick with old UXP browser versions.

  11. You didn't follow the discussion. The search box issue only appears when using the VORAPIS V3 frontend and not the original YT interface.
