  1. I'll be getting ESR 128.7.0 out before 135. I'm doing some research that required me to work on the 128 branch, and while I'm here I figure I'll make 128.7.0 while I'm at it. Don't know when 128.8 will come out, that depends on Mozilla, and then for me to have time for it. I think this is a Firefox feature. If you use the r3dfox theme, the icons should be separate.

  2. At the moment, I have reverted to the last officially compatible version 1.46. But I will test the 1.56 version again. Thanks for the hint! @feodor2 I moved to the most recent, final version of uBlock Origin which is 1.62 at the moment. The logger works fine in multi-process mode but in single-process mode, the logger popup window is very unstable. Some extensions, scripts and whatever else interfere considerably with the loading and display of the logger popup. It often remains empty. Resizing the logger window helps in some cases. I investigated this further and found that changing the advanced setting loggerPopupType from popup to normal may be a solution. In this case, the logger is opened in a normal window in which it loads fine as far as I could see until now. At least, on my computer with its current configuration. I'll keep an eye on that.

  3. I can assume it works off a Chrome engine, so you gotta fine its UA (user agent) and replace with a Win10 one.

  4. Could you copy that file somewhere else, on a much less valuable computer? Better with a good AV. Then open the file in WinHex and look at the header.

  5. I only guess: PrPro means "professional" (edition?), "Scratch" is a software for 3d animations. Neither of your mentioned software called "Scratch". So then again, it could be a mimicking virus, like @Karla Sleutel already pointed out. Windows TEMP folders usually have other name patterns.

  6. @VistaLover assumed everyone that is on imgur's blacklist belong to one "gang". Then tried to push a theory of "us" living together. Now you wrote you're there, too, on their blacklist. But it has nothing to do with any browser. New Moon crashes for me, too. But Cloudflare and imgur are a different matter. Where I press like is my business. Not sure what you meant by aluminium cables. Never had those, to begin with.

  8. Because it is literally nonsense to have two (maybe even three in a few months) ESR branches running at the same time. What was the reason for not supporting Windows 7 and 8.1 till Firefox 128 and then migrate them to the ESR chanel, when 115 ESR and 128 ESR will probably have the same EOL date? Users of older operating systems could have profited from the features introduced between 115-128 as well. Let's say Firefox 115 ESR will be extended for another 6 months -> you are patching an older version instead of a newer one with better Web Standards. Makes no sense for me. I give you another example: Microsoft not releasing IE10/11 for Windows Server 2008 SP2 was such a dumb idea, since IE9 does not feature the same HTML5/CSS standards as IE11. While these two browser version were released 2 years apart from each other, Microsoft could have ported it back for 2008 SP2 as well but they didn't. Up to this day, they continue to support IE9 on 2008 SP2 (with Premium Assurance) but it makes no sense, since you cannot browse the web with that version anymore. Most sites do not render correctly etc. IE11 would have been a huge advantage for the remaining users in literally any way possible To conclude, it is always better to have a more up-to-date version because of newer in-build web technologies. If I would have to choose, I would always pick the newer branch for my older OS

  9. Keeping single-process mode is really a good idea and very important for those running Windows XP on old, weak computers. Actually, this mode works much better in Mypal 68.14.7b than in the previous releases. I've already mentally and emotionally prepared myself for the next compatibility breakages you'll soon be unleashing. I am really curious to see what will no longer work in the next version as it did in Mypal 68.14.5b. In the meantime, I have written a whole series of UC.JS scripts to be on the safe side if a lot of my older stuff do not work anymore. Hope the Custom Buttons extension will still work in your next Mypal 68 release as it should actually be able to run in newer Firefox versions up to at least 136 as well. And if it works there, it should also be possible in newer Mypal 68 versions with a much lower JavaScript level.

  10. Seems nobody noticed before Sure multiprocess starts slower, and on yours old pentioum 4 this is it noticeable may be, so that why I keep single process. Remember not to rely on xul things, I begin to remove them, xul addons page has gone already.

  11. Found the bug. If you turn off "Tray icons - quick settings" in startallback. Then click on the bluetooth icon in the taskbar, the bluetooth menu is not hidden. See how the sound menu works, it hides automatically if you click anywhere with your mouse Windows 11 26100.3194. Startallback 3.9.4

  12. @feodor2 When creating UC.JS scripts, I noticed that some Vanilla JavaScript commands behave differently in single-process mode compared to multi-process mode. When starting the browser, loading new tabs or windows, accessing elements via document.getElementById() and especially via document.querySelector() needs much more time in multi-process mode than in single-process mode. Is there any explanation for this? Is this by default or rather a Mypal 68 specific behaviour? When, for example, starting the browser with the about:addons page, it takes nearly 8 seconds after DOM is loaded to be able to access an element in multi-process mode via document.querySelector() . In single-process mode, it can be accessed directly. This is very strange and does not make the multi-process mode particularly attractive.

  13. It's not "different" it's another question, lol. I'd say, probably, even most likely, because Germany now includes the Eastern part - GDR (DDR), The chance of him blocking W. Germany before 1990 was extremely high, also he indeed didn't want to loose the auditory of millions of Russians that now reside in Germany. https://www.ncesc.com/geographic-pedia/why-do-so-many-russians-live-in-germany/

  14. That would mean the whole @VistaLover proclaimed "gang" is not able to watch any of those vids, as we all reside in those marvellous countries! And I'm pretty sure it was Moore's request since they cite Youtube's licence. So, @D.Draker, you're not blocked by YT. but by M. Moore.

  15. Blocked there, too! Weirdly, this time I can pass the cloudflare "protection", but then I got a notification of my Region being blocked. I live in France, but my IP oftenly gets confused with Belgian, and Belgium is blocked. I don't know whether it was made per a request from Moore, if it was, then he's indeed a red guy. Why? Because the most rich countries are blocked (look ta the screen!), that tells there's nothing for me to see there. But thanks.

  16. Hi, to everyone that's still following us on MSFN. As of February 16 2025, here's what we have to do, to get the project out of its current idle state; - Find out how to make our own V2/V3.1 inventories; - Revise the V4 inventories for 98/98SE/Me; - Get the Internet Explorer categories to show up on V4; - Get V4 to work on XP; - Complete our collection of Windows Service Packs and IE installers; Find missing files and try to collect more logs using the tool I made (https://www.windowsupdaterestored.com/en/downloads/wurinvchecker.htm). This is very important. There currently is not much work done on WUR, and most of these steps will require a lot of time and effort to get them working. If you think you can help us, be sure to let me know!

  18. Not necessary - here the custumbutton already published by you /*Initialization Code*/ var prefName = "security.csp.enable"; var enabledImage = "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAABQAAAAUCAYAAACNiR0NAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACxjwv8YQUAAAAgY0hSTQAAeiYAAICEAAD6AAAAgOgAAHUwAADqYAAAOpgAABdwnLpRPAAAAO1JREFUOE9jZPgPhFQFIAOpCalqGNi31HQdfQz8R6Gb4drVwLGNwGlQGWQxWAC5Iqnjg7LnwtSD/G0GFYSFpzSQzwTEfWjiIANhPgCx7aGG6COpg6bD/wxuWLzagWYgcgSCDDSG6pmHzcBuHGEH83IEmjxI3A4qpoDNQJBrcMFcpDCDqYFZFACV248chiBJayzGgcLrA5I4SF0tTCOQNsCiByxkBLXlJVTBOSCdA8RiaGEIMnADkoGmuAwEGSqO5C2QxlYgPg8VY4bSoCQCgqFIasPQDMViB2ZI/iFKFUQfCUqJy/WjBhIXTnhUAQCxF7FzNVSQlgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg=="; var disabledImage = "data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAABQAAAAUCAYAAACNiR0NAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACxjwv8YQUAAAAgY0hSTQAAeiYAAICEAAD6AAAAgOgAAHUwAADqYAAAOpgAABdwnLpRPAAAAOlJREFUOE9j/M/AAERUBCADqYlBzhvpBv6jMAjgYagGiW04ToMajCwGYoPC3BVJHR+UPRemHqTADCoIiyBpIJ8JiPvQxEEGwnwAYttDDdFHUgd2IUjSDYtXO9AMRE4RID3GUD3zsBnYjSPsYF6OQJMHidtBxRSwGQhyDa40mYsUZjA1MIsCoHL7kcMQJGmNxUBQeH1AEgepq4VpBNIGWPSAw9AIastLqIJzQDoHiMXQwhBk4AYkA01xGQgyVBzJWyCNrUB8HirGDKVBSQSkNhRJbRiaoUTl5T94whc93IkykJQCZNRAygtbAOb2sXODGkDmAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC"; this.onclick = function (aE) { if (aE.button === 0) { Services.prefs.setBoolPref(prefName, !Services.prefs.getBoolPref(prefName)); setSelfImage(); } }; function setSelfImage() { if (Services.prefs.getBoolPref(prefName)) self.image = enabledImage; else self.image = disabledImage; } setSelfImage(); replace "security.csp.enable" with the desired thing Toggle CSP is a custom button I created for only toggling one preference in about:config and made it available almost two and a half years ago. To be honest, there wasn't much interest in this button. And your suggestion to use this button as a template is a little off the mark. Toggling the browser.tabs.remote.autostart preference has no direct effect while the browser is running and can't be a solution as you actually should know. More steps are to perform. If you compare the two buttons, you should notice that the PMT - Process Mode Toggler custom button has a much more complex functionality than the Toggle CSP custom button. BTW, I have revised the Toggle CSP custom button some time ago and designed it so that the manual switching of the security.csp.enable preference, for example, in about:config is also registered by the custom button to always display the correct status via the button image as well as via the button tooltip, even in such or similar cases. However, the PMT - Process Mode Toggler custom button does not need such modification, and thus, I have already removed it again, as solely toggling the browser.tabs.remote.autostart preference has no effect on the current browser session in terms of its process mode. Why to tease then? Teasing? I do not tease anyone. I just demonstrated what custom buttons are capable of, and I made it clear to think about publishing if sufficient interest was shown. No more, no less. However, I cannot see this at the moment. And to be honest, I don't know what your problem actually is. Regarding the PMT - Process Mode Toggler custom button, which I already made available for you only, I am the creator and decide for myself if and when I publish something. Just like you do when it comes to Mypal 68. One thing is clear: you are you, and I am me. No pills will help. @feodor2 If you want to tell me something specific, you should articulate it as clearly as possible. I’m not a fan of reading between the lines or subliminal hints.

  19. Yes. Very interesting. Which version of the Custom Buttons extension did you install in Mypal 68? And which method of installation did you apply to get this version fully working in Mypal 68? And since we're on-topic now, you're welcome to be as detailed as possible. In any case, I'm very curious to read what you will report. BTW, the UXP browsers New Moon and Serpent are of no interest here as Mypal 68 is a Quantum browser.

  20. @feodor2 I am not sure if you aware of this. The logger of uBlock Origin 1.60 does not work in Mypal 68.14.4b when running single-process mode. Neither in the officially last compatible version 1.46 of uBlock Origin. In multiprocess mode, the logger is running fine.

  21. Perhaps, someone is now wondering what is so special about the "Manage Cookies and Site Data" custom button. The answer is quite simple. There is no functioning extension or toolbar button for the Quantum browser Mypal 68 that can simply call up the native, internal cookie manager only. In contrast to the UXP browsers, the direct call of the corresponding XUL file is unfortunately no longer sufficient because it doesn't work correctly. Call it a bug, an issue or whatever, in any case, it is faulty. This custom button seems to be therefore unique. Contrary to the native popup, to which you first have to click through, It calls up the internal cookie manager by only one click in an own, resizable window. BTW, creating custom buttons for UXP browsers is much easier and much more fun. In the Quantum browser Mypal 68, most things no longer work as easily or at all. Everything is very restrictive and obstructed.
