Finally someone who thinks it's as cool as I do. BTW, when using the VORAPIS script, you should take care not to break the script with filters or filter lists. For example, the "GoodbyeAds-YouTube-AdBlock-Filter" filter list makes the script unusable.

Thanks for pointing me to that script! YouTube is now fast again. Only issue I had that advertisements appeared in my search... This uBO filter fixed it: www.youtube.com##div.ad-slot-renderer.ad-item.ad-renderer.pyv-promoted-videos:nth-of-type(n)

In New Moon 28, this issue is shown in the Web Console as: TypeError: 'referrerPolicy' member of RequestInit 'strict-origin-when-cross-origin' is not a valid value for enumeration ReferrerPolicy. Vorapis.user.js:54:115522 In the row 54 and column 115522 of the VORAPIS script (it's the space between return and fetch), one can find the problem. My guess is you'd need a natively DX12 supported GPU, as it bypasses to DX12 directly.

There is no problem including paid software in this thread. Any software which still works on Windows XP now is worth mentioning. I would ask though that if software is not freeware that it should be mentioned in the relevant post.

Yes, they have such an extension. I downloaded it from the (also crappy) Discord, which was rather a torture , and installed it in New Moon 28. It works in the same way the script already does but the search box issue of course still exists.

FreeTube is only available for Windows 10 and later which are of course not older NT-Family OSes. Still an interesting project. But unfortunately not for me as a die-hard Windows XP fan. BTW, I have reported the search box issue of VORAPIS V3 in UXP browsers to their issues on GitHub here: https://github.com/vorapis-yt/v3/issues/15

The real irony to me is that I have *never*, literally *NEVER* used YouTube in my ENTIRE LIFE. *UNTIL* I became an MSFN member and everybody, and I do mean *everybody*, is constantly citing YT (first time I saw that, it took SEVERAL second to realize that YT = YouTube).

Yep! But they are not identical, they are based on these browsers. Strange. On my system, the Project VORAPIS frontend works very well in the UXP browsers except for the completion of the search suggestions. I have even installed the extension in the version 0.8.10.26 in Serpent 52 instead of the userscript.

And what about New Moon 28? This thread is actually not about Pale Moon. As far as I can see until now, the new Project VORAPIS 0.8.10.26 script seems to work as it should in New Moon 28 and Serpent 52 (and off-topic in Mypal 68) on my Windows XP computer. And BTW, the search box is also working but only shows suggestions in Mypal 68 while typing. So, this is indeed an issue related to UXP browsers which has not been fixed yet.

The issue that the video player resets after some time and then all higher resolutions disappear is only related to New Moon 28 (and presumably also to Pale Moon). In Serpent 52, the VORAPIS V3 script works out of the box without this issue. The reason for this issue is the VORAPIS script Vorapis.user.js itself, currently in the version 0.8.9.25, (and also some previous scripts as for example the version 0.8.6.16) which doesn't work properly in New Moon 28. I fixed this issue by using the VORAPIS launcher script patcher.user.js in the version 1.0.8.8 extracted from the webextension "V3 - Get Old YouTube Layout (Launcher)". They show a messsge on the YouTube site that it is not the full version but it is enough for me. Searching and playing videos is working as it should. I removed the blue message box from the frontend with uBO. The Project VORAPIS script has been updated today to the version 0.8.10.26. That's the problem of the "legit" games because they want the telemetry functions that Vista lacks, for example , I have a legit copy of MK11 , but it won't start because the game protection wants the telemetry functions.
