I doubt they was unwitting. I think they knew who pay theme and understand the task very clearly. P.S. Аbout year ago i watched interview with former worker of ruZZia's (government own) TV channel to SotnikTV. He said that they internal chats with instructions and "talking points" was in Telegram. When he asked his superiors why Telegram (he naively thought that Telegram was fighting FSB) he was answered - that was show for the fools and Telegram is under tight control of FSB.5 points

You know, as a person who live in home that recently was trembling when air-defense rocket intercepted ruZZian missile (that was aiming at my block) i see your post as incredibly dumb and ignorant.5 points

A small note. You probably meant rather "Auf Wiedersehen!". I’ll say then:4 points

Why such a misleading name, then? Pretending to be VPN/Proxy, when in fact it's not? Also, kids these days, several megs to "fix an icon", I don't believe it, do what you want with me.3 points

Because it's irrelevant since Vista and ASLR enabled executables are a thing. The OS always picks random base address for ASLR enabled executables and is smart about it to not duplicate it in memory across multiple processes that share the same executable binaries.2 points

You are grabbing values from the System Test Suite. These values are not CPU-specific. That's what the CPU Test Suite is for.2 points
-
No. What am I to win here? I already lost. As I already stated, your CPU is definitely weaker than mine. But how much weaker can only investigated if there are meaningful values. It can only be solved statistically and thus mathematically.2 points
-
You are somehow talking your head off here. You and only you were trying, statistically completely absurdly, to make a statement about how much faster my CPU is than yours from artificial, completely arbitrarily defined values. And by that I mean the CPU score, since you didn't offer detailed values. That is statistically and mathematically pure nonsense. If you really want to know more about our CPUs in a more meaningful way, you have to compare the values in the section CPU Test Suite to get information how many times faster my CPU is than yours. So please be more serious when making statements!2 points

You naughty boy! Confess you also delete the rest of the Hellload garbage files @D.Draker taught us to.2 points

You're right, and I have no problems admitting I sometimes overpush, but then again, it's a standard practice to mask reporting tools under the guise of casual files, hence the oddly big size. So fair is fair, I accept your opinion, too.2 points

The GeForce 6200 AGP is indeed a good one. It is absolutely silent as my version is passively cooled. Unfortunately, my motherboard supports only AGP 4x although the GeForce 6200 is an AGP 8x one. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-6200-agp.c24191 point

Guten Tag! Yes, fixed it couple of minutes later, you still had original post loaded. I wished for GeForce 6200 back in the day. When I was looking, it was the only card still available for AGP bus. Definitely better than GeForce4 MX 440. Before 3DMark, there was Final Reality (Second Reality vibes). It has reference to Max Payne released few years later.1 point

@NotHereToPlayGames BTW, here is the corrected link in the way uCyborg posted it: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Pentium-4-280GHz-vs-Intel-Atom-N450/m3163vsm31901 point

Thanks for the link! However, I never used 3DMark before as I am not a gamer. The graphics on my Windows XP computer is very weak anyways.1 point

And then Adieu, Goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen for today? I feel like you guys are making another bloated thread on MSFN. 5 pages already xD1 point

So are you going to fill in a "zero" for the failed tests? Or just geomean a smaller subset? A geometric mean is the nth root of a product with n factors. If you set one value to zero, the whole product will be zero and the nth root of zero is zero. My answer to your first question is therefore no. You can't set a value from your data to zero. And yes, you have to reduce the set of values, i.e. you have to build a smaller subset by removing characteristics.1 point

Instead of linking to something from 2016, why won't you tell us about the latest Google "achievement", another anti-feature to be included in the next Supermium release? https://developers.google.com/privacy-sandbox/private-advertising/enrollment It has a mysterious name "Privacy Sandbox Attestations". Already there, in Chrome v.128, maybe even lower.1 point

I have recently been re-testing modern versions of Java under Windows XP, having figured out many fixes and workarounds to issues that were present on these newer versions when being ran on that operating system. To be more precise, i have managed to solve a crash with keyboard input, the java control panel refusing to launch, java applets being broken, as well as JavaFX applications and its WebKit component not running. Ultimately, this has allowed me to get the latest and newest revision of Java 8, which currently is 8u421, running on XP without any major bugs or glitches. This version needs XomPie in order to run, however, instructions for slightly older versions of Java are also available, having been revised to include all of the mentioned workarounds, including JavaFX compatibility, so people can run more modern and stable versions on their original installs. These are available on my website: http://neonfloppy.sytes.net/software/winxp/java/ Moreover, Windows Vista can also run 8u421, provided Extended Kernel or XomPie are installed on the system. Previous versions have also been revised, for those still running vanilla Vista. More details here: http://neonfloppy.sytes.net/software/winvista/java/1 point

normal UXP builds require SSE2, while IA32 builds don't require it. please checkout FAQ in 1st reply in this thread. search "c000001d" and read the answer.1 point

Interesting to see a K-Meleon based FF45 ESR SSE... I like the simple UI of K-Meleon and porting it to FF45 would definitely reduce the strain on the CPU. Australis sucks.1 point

A modern Opera Presto browser! -kidding! Kidding! I know you’re a mozilla guy... I’m not really sure, at this moment... I will try to think of a good thing, I suppose there is the question, what can you build that you haven't yet?1 point
