Excuse me, but this is extremely naive point. FSB is KGB that change nickname to drop the heat. Its like in GTA when you have 6 star chase and you drive in paint shop to change paint color and engine number. NPC in game obey the script. But you are alive human been, and not primitive scripted NPC bot, you should understand simple things, right? FSB\KGB is the most prominent terroristic organization in the world. It stands behind 90% percent of organized world terrorism, from ISIS, to Al-Quaida, Irish National Liberation Army, Taliban, HAMAS. All of this is made possible just cause KGB\FSB. Chekists came to power at the end of 1917, then never give up power since that year. They still in charge of Kremlin. Security Services of Democratic countries exist to prevent crime and terrorism. FSB\KGB is a major terroristic organization of the world - it exist to create chaos, corruprion, wars and terrorism across the world. P.S. Here is a good read about FSB one "special operation": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blowing_Up_Russia5 points

I see it like this. If websites can't be loaded properly on my old computer under Windows XP, it's a sign that this website has disqualified itself for my system and now has the pleasure of making the acquaintance of my Android tablet. BTW, websites that take up hundreds of megabytes of RAM are simply rubbish in my world. Especially if they waste my precious RAM to show ads, offer meaningless things and collect user data.3 points

Contrary to my original statement, I have tried to open the Facebook website in Thorium. Even there I am rewarded with a 100% CPU load, and my free RAM memory is being eaten up. The only thing that allows the page to load is using a mobile user agent. Unfortunately, many elements are then not displayed correctly. So, it remains the same. The FB page is just rubbish.3 points

The reason lies around the PrefetchVirtualMemory and VirtualAlloc, since 110-112 the memory management code in Chrome was rewritten. This was the reason they dropped everything below 10, starting V110. PrefetchVirtualMemory (newly introduced function) glitches out on XP. The porters tried to replace it VirtualAlloc. No luck, as we see,3 points

I can't believe Reinhard Blaukovitch simply gives out all of the ways to cra*k Securom, the CD protection of the company he claims to work for! Do you? It's more like an IQ test. Besides, someone with the same name hosts several pirating sites in the RU zone, we *of course* know that Russia had legalised intellectual property theft, but if you claim he lives in Austria, not Russia, how is this possible, then ? You're trying to say he simply steals from Austria, at the same time living there, which would assume he is a citizen, most likely... That said, his Chrome port is terrible. Good win32 didn't collaborate with that person (whatever he is).2 points

I'm pretty sure it's not the same man, and the Russian simply took another famous man's name just forthe laughs and giggles. No one would ban the real Blaukovitch on github, not to mention the real Blaukovitch wouldn't post cra*cks on github or anywhere else, to begin with.2 points

That's because websites simply load less scripts for phones. You're too low on RAM. I use a 16GB junk (low specs) PC with Pentium for the internet at home. It's the bare minimum,2 points

You can't compare browsers running on Win10 to any previous OS. I'll explain why. RAM management is different on Win10, it's the cause for the bug. They weren't able to fix it. The Russian guy (forgot his name, Blunauvich, was it?) he also acknowledged this huge memory leak, he couldn't fix it, then wrote about it to win32, the leak is still not fixed,2 points

No, SSD can not fully TRIM itself cause it does not fully know what data should be deleted and what stored. Samsung once tested File System Aware Garbage Collection - prototype SSD that can theoretically fully TRIM itself, but it does not worked as they expected.2 points

I don't get it. Mesa9x v21.3.8.20 is emulator of HW openGL from windows 98\ME. What is have to do with universal VESA Graphics driver with hardware acceleration for XP? Can some one explain me?2 points

You're welcome! --process-per-site is very important since it consolidates all numerous processes from a given website into one, hence the memory usage reduction. I posted this flag at MSFN several years ago, I remember VistaLover was confusing it with another flag --site-per-process, they are absolutely different. Seeing the memory leaks are starting to show them off literally on every site now, I indeed think, try it. Out of Memory - Google Maps, then Crash. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/8471 point

They added a bunch of freshly released CPU-s, nothing major.1 point

optional --disable-low-res-tiling --wm-window-animations-disabled --disable-highres-timer (I like it, but you wrote it's somehow not fitting for XP 32bit).1 point

Looks like you didn't pay attention to the post, the leak had happened with 64-bit Supermium. But then again, the function is glitchy on both - 32 and 64.1 point

For the time being, try third party Instagram browsing sites, maybe? No login needed. https://www.pixwox.com/profile/INSERT_PROFILE_NAME_HERE/ Not sure whom this site belongs to, but works fine,1 point

But in this case it may be the author simply upgraded to a compiler not targeting NT 5.x by default/at all ...1 point

Facebook as well as all these social media sites have become overbloated more and more day by day and year by year. I've just logged in an old FB account in Mypal 68, and the RAM eating started. Only my FB front page open, and Mypal 68 consumes 750 MB. I won't test this crappy service in Thorium as there is not enough RAM for such bad sites. I think such social media sites are more made for mobile devices the last years. On Android, there are corresponding apps for each of these services. Personally, I do not use these services. And I hate them all.1 point

Personally, I am not really interested in running legacy extensions in Mypal 68. I am more interested in working UC.JS scripts and CSS stylesheets. But there was one legacy extension that I really wanted to get running and was finally able to install in Mypal 68 long time ago. It's the legacy Custom Buttons extension. Here is a screenshot: The advantage in using legacy custom buttons in Mypal 68 is that they are not restricted in their actions as, for example, webextensions unfortunately are. Legacy custom buttons just do what their JavaScript code commands them, whatever that may be.1 point

Isn't TRIM is now handled by these devices themselves? I have a combo HDD/SSD and HDD monitoring software says TRIM is handled by the device.1 point

What do you mean by a regular SATA disk? O&O Defrag can execute the TRIM command only on SSD devices, and only if these are supported, of course. HDDs connected via SATA or IDE (PATA) can only be defragmented, logically.1 point

Of course! It's never a good idea to have more than one real-time protection. Furthermore, I have to pay attention to resource consumption in my old Windows XP computer. As long as Malwarebytes releases definitions updates for the version 3.5.1, I will use this antimalware programme for real-time protection. The good thing is that both are compatible with each other. I can deactivate the real-time protection of Malwarebytes at any time and activate that of SUPERAntiSpyware if wanted by me. BTW, SUPERAntiSpyware has many additional features which are useful. At the moment, I use it as an offline scanner. More about that programme will come soon!1 point

Your objection is justified. I thought I had already written that, but it was just a slightly longer post. I already corrected my post above. Thanks for the hint! No one has to buy a licence for whatever. In this thread, I list all possible editions of antimalware and other security programmes. Nothing more and nothing less. And guessing wishes is not my job. Here is a comparison of free and pro features: https://www.superantispyware.com/free-edition.html The Free Edition is of course considerably limited. Above all, no real time protection. But what is the saying: PS: Personally, I couldn't care less which version of which programme a user prefers. I provide information, the mature reader can decide for himself what to do with it.1 point
