  1. Good, constrictive discussion, I appreciate that, really. The other two things that I can think of right now are (besides the beaten to death canvas). 1 - JA3 Hash https://browserleaks.com/ip 2 - or HTTP/2 Fingerprint (Akamai Hash) https://browserleaks.com/http2 or both, in conjunction, to make an iron fingerprint. Some modern versions can spoof the first one, mind you.

  2. Developer had answered and agreed with Dixel. "Possible UACH discrimination issue." https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/797#issuecomment-2295137035" BTW, certs can be bypassed with a flag, it's not the reason.

  3. Thanks for reporting! It is good that such changes are reported here. However, I already noticed the update issue. I'll first provide the changes via automatic update soon.

  4. Sorry for the delay, still been working on this! The trial version of Resource Tuner fixed the icons, thanks very much. I think I now have everything configured as it should be. Thorium is the default browser on XP, and seems to be performing fine.

  5. Right, we aren't trying to "PROVE" anything. We have you for that. Give us your version of events. We don't insist of anything. What about the website (bank? utilities?) that blocked you from XP? Isn't it the same case?

  6. Besides, what other proof do you need? It's very easy reproducible. Also, the screens are posted at the github's link I gave.

  7. The userscript links are at the bottom of their main page, which is displayed normally in Pale Moon. The filterlist links are also on the same page. Indeed, that web "file manager" does not seem to work on Pale Moon but all needed links are on the main page.

  8. I have just noticed that the update of the BPCF userscripts seem to be done automatically by the developer. You will only notice that if the userscript manager has been configured to update them automatically, too. If so, user actions are not really necessary.

  9. If you are additionally using the Bypass Paywalls Clean filter usersrcipts, don't forget to also update them in your userscript manager!

  10. Thanks for reporting! It is good that such changes are reported here. However, I already noticed the update issue. I'll first provide the changes via automatic update soon. Assets updated. The automatic update of uBlock Origin Legacy's assets can be triggered by the "Purge all caches" function.

  14. Thanks for asking! As long as no new errors occur and everything is running well, there is no need to update. I'm travelling on so many fronts that my time needs to be well managed. Or is something not working? I can't see any serious problems at the moment. uBlock Origin Legacy 1.16.4.35 is running fine here.

  17. BTW, there is a chance that this installer still exists in one of your subfolders of the c:\Windows folder, added there for a later install or uninstall of programme features. Search for it there!

  18. The dude who wrote that "ad nauseam speculations" nonsense also wrote it worked in 124 (where the client hints are obviously different). The same dude requested those who deny client hints tell what it is then.

  22. And we can not rule out *elliptic curve* encryption. Remember, this cloudflare-cycle is in XP only! I cannot replicate in 7, I cannot replicate in 10. Regardless of UACH-capable version or not. And again, Ungoogled v122 and Supermium v122 are *identical* as far as a server looking at their UACH alone, I see no UACH discrimination. I cannot uncycle this cloudflare-cycle in XP with a fake UACH. UACH is not the culprit here, not in my investigation. I have still yet to witness anything but "undue paranoia" regarding UACH. TO ME, everything still seems to point to *elliptic curve* encryption! Turning off certificate errors client-side has no effect on server-side. Unfortunately, Proxomitron even has issues with Cloudflare Crap, so my best tool for debug is handicapped.

  24. Aren't those 473, 474, 475 are simply "security fix" drivers? BTW, did you see the result? https://msfn.org/board/topic/186055-3050ti-3060ti-3070ti-and-3080ti-laptop-gpu-driver/?do=findComment&comment=1263435

  25. As you may have seen in the Thorium thread regarding my issue with sudden crashes, finding the cause of an issue can lead to an odyssey. But maybe, you try a clean unistall and then a reinstall of the Comodo Firewall. In some cases, it really helps. And don't forget to backup your firewall settings first!

  28. I too got it from time to time, but it usually happened only on those sites 360EE couldn't render with the native Chrome engine. At this point, the browser is just very old, 4 years.

  29. I did try DefaultBrowser 1.8, I reported back here that it didn't fix the problem. I've just spent the whole afternoon trying to track this problem down by process of elimination, which was very tedious! Finally, I've determined that it's due to the ancient 16 bit 'Run' program that I use as a program launcher. I never managed to get Thorium to run from it, and now I know why! 360Chrome won't run from it directly, but it will run from it using Launcher.exe to run its shortcut, but that doesn't work with Thorium. I have two 16 bit programs running on XP, the 'Run' program launcher, and an on-screen clock. I discovered that if they weren't launched, the problem went away and links from e-mails launched fine in Thorium. Running them brought the problem back. It now appears that I can run them, but the links only work from my e-mail program if I don't run it from the launcher. Running it from the launcher, which I've been doing for years, appears OK, but links then crash Thorium. Why this is happening, I have absolutely no idea! Just as an aside, how did you change the icon in the Thorium launcher program? I've tried doing it with Resource Hacker, but it won't work. I can replace the resource, but I can't then compile it or save it, everything is greyed out. Making other changes are fine, but not changing the icon.

  32. CentBrowser has its own sense of ads, probably that member is well known for the spamming reputation on other forums with the same nickname, I dunno, strange?! On the other hand, we all know some members had troubles posting links, at the same time, others hadn't. But for you it also includes the spacer.png, no?

  42. nope, my latest tycho builds are 27.9.1a1-20180825-84be542d0, but actually beyond 27.9.4 level. I haven't update it for a while since I don't have enough time to port new changes to it. if your profile was already touched by PM28, don't directly use it in 27 builds because it will corrupt when you downgrade it. In such situation you should create a new profile for PM27 use.

  43. first, don't quote entire release post. second, for 1st bug, it is unfixable by mozilla and me, you might try if mypal will work or not (unless Feodor2 has custom fix for it, otherwise no) for 2nd/3rd bug, please check if you have firefox compatibility user agent selected.

  44. for build 20181010, you need to go to about:config and turn security.data_uri.unique_opaque_origin as false. because fix of Bug 1324406 is landed.
