  2. I second your opinion of Registry Workshop. I've been using it for many years, and it's great. I even use an old version (2.7.1) on Windows 98!

  3. Thanks for your reply and your wish! If you knew a person with Python programming skills, it would be great. Three TLS 1.3 ciphers have to be added to existing package of REV3e. Its openssl version 1.1.1d already supports TLS 1.3. In case of ProxHTTPSProxyMII 1.3a (20150527) much more needs to be done to implement TLS 1.3 support. I can only do what I am able to, regarding my skills. Unfortunately I am not a Python programmer. Sorry! Cheers, AstroSkipper

  4. Registry Editors Registrar Registry Manager 9.20 is a registry editor which is still supported in Windows XP. Hompage: https://www.resplendence.com/registrar There is a Free Home Edition: https://www.resplendence.com/download/RegistrarHomeV9.exe and a commercial Professional Edition. My favourite registry editor is Registry Workshop (current version is 5.0.1). Link: http://www.torchsoft.com/en/rw_information.html It is still supported in Windows XP, but it's commercial. This program is definitely worth its money. You can try it 30 days for free. Here is a download link of the English version 5.0.1 (other language versions are available): http://www.torchsoft.com/download/RegistryWorkshop.exe Cheers, AstroSkipper

  5. IMHO a build with updated libs (openssl, urllib, etc.) would be best. The launcher is an useful addition, but is not the main feature of a proxy P.S. it's fine on my end as it is, don't let my words affect your decision.

  6. Is too weak for Spellforce , even though the game is old. Why am I talking about SF ? It's an iconic DX9 game and a good example. The bare minimum for it is GTX 780 OC . To answer your question about the system, Windows 11 runs fine with the driver 471.96 and the old (hugely compatible) Titan , no glitches discovered by me personally . Don't know about win 10 , sorry. I don't work for Nvidia , I actually hate them for their latest tech . .... but the reds are absolutely not meant to be played on (sorry), the red fans are very welcome to downvote , lol. Writing only from my personal experience, trying to help you . Don't judge me strong , thanks.

  7. Exactly , that's why I suggested a 10 years old Titan . And what I meant was not about the horsepower of this UHD graphics per se , I meant the compatibility with older DX9 games. For example , playing Spellforce on a native DX12 card will give you distorted health and mana bars when running fullscreen , etc.

  11. onboard UHD 770 graphics and retro gaming , I don't think so. Well what to count as retro , of course . If you mean 2015 is retro , then fine. For DX9/DX10 games , no. For real retro gotta grab smth like GTX Titan 6gb or Titan Z. I had terrible problems with the newer Titan X (native DX12) and older games.

  12. Thanks for sharing! Works fine in New Moon 28.10.3a1. You're welcome! The goal of all this is to restore and preserve important functionality in Windows XP for daily and future use. And access to VirusTotal is definitely important. Kind regards, AstroSkipper

  13. Hmmm ... for some reason (I don't know why) 12 (for me) is worse than v13 Perhaps I didn't tweak it properly and gave up on it too soon and decided I preferred @Humming Owl's DCBrowser over 360V12; but again, I will give it another try as DC Browser is now too obsolete. By the way, DC Browser has been updated several times and I checked upstream and its been updated to a new version, but like @NotHereToPlayGames stated, we're talking about browser that will work on XP and I don't know that would/is the case. I'll do the best I can with V13 but with only 2gb of reliable memory, its not promising for me and V11 thus far does what I need and I prefer the Arctic Foxie un googled versions.

  14. The 32 bit part of it is very broken now. I am trying to fix it. However, I consider the new 64 bit enhancements to be finished.

  15. Hello, The website is fully working with CSS! But @maile3241 and me have a problem: to use the website, we need to replace 2 files each time we use the website ! To stop that, we need query strings. Anyone have an idea of how to use query strings in IIS? Thanks by advance !

  16. Hi to all people who are using a computer with a SSE only CPU or whose OS is Windows XP Professional 64Bit! In these cases you have to use the original release of ProxHTTPSProxyMII 1.3a (20150527), when you need to establish such a connection. Now I would like to know whether there is an interest in an updated and modified package of this version. One of my computers has an AthonXP 3200+ CPU with SSE instruction set only and therefore I have modified the mentioned package by including a launcher as it is in HTTPSProxy's package. The result is a proxy which can be served in the same way as it is in case of HTTPSProxy. All functions are available via systray icon and can be accessed comfortably. Let me know by commenting and reacting whether there is such an interest! Kind regards, AstroSkipper

  17. At the Windows 11 OOBE, On newer bulids, You can't select the option to use a offline account. Like the XBOX One. Working around it is pretty simple. Note:This workaround was made by Microsoft, Meaning it's unlikely it will be removed. Tested on 21H2. 1.At the create account screen, Hit SHIFT+F10. You'll see a command prompt window. 2. Type 'oobe\bypassnro' or cd oobe and then 'bypassnro' Your computer will reboot. 3.Then once the reboot completes hit 'continue with limited setup' and on your way! Comment if there's any problems. -Nerdulater
