  2. In order to use Cisco Webex on Windows XP you have to 1) Download the modified v12 version from this thread, extract it with 7z in a folder you want and press escape only the first time you open it (download link from first post: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pjthbixelfylwhd/360EE_12.0.1592.0_Modified.7z/file) 2) Install this extention by going to this site: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-for-c/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg 3) Right click on the icon that appears up right after installing it and click on settings. 4) Add a new user agent string so that webex.com thinks you are logging in from a Windows 10 device like this one that works from me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/91.0.4472.164 Safari/537.36 To do that, after clicking on settings, copy paste the above user agent string on the field "New User-Agent String", put a name on the field "New User-agent name" and a number on the field "Indicator Flag". I just put 1. Press ADD 5) Go to https://signin.webex.com just click on the icon of the extention, select chrome and then the name of your user agent string. The page will refresh. If you want to deactivate it, just select chrome and then default. This will enable sites to see that you are using a Windows XP computer again. Note: The sign in button does not work for me on webex.com with this version of 360 so i log in from this url: https://signin.webex.com/

  3. New build of post-deprecated Serpent/moebius for XP! * Notice: This repo will not be built on regular schedule, and changes are experimental as usual. ** Current moebius patch level should be on par with 52.9, but some security patches can not be applied/ported due to source milestone differences between versions. 7. An updated v13 build 2206 browser_strings.xml for inside en_skin.srx -- https://www.dropbox.com/s/hi6axeu2bovxsi6/browser_strings.xml Nothing has been removed but entries are now in commented sections by group of where they are used in the GUI. 170 entries witnessed one-by-one within the GUI, commented and grouped by GUI-usage. 172 entries that are not used within the GUI because they are pulled from elsewhere, come from v9 but not used in v13, pertain to login/sync functions, pertain to Thunder download manager which is broken once telemetry is removed, etc have been commented out but remain in the .xml for reference.

  9. I read this today - it feels like that walls are closing in on us using legacy software. Going to get harder and harder to continue to stick with/by UXP in the (not so distant future)

  10. don't get me wrong, i love eye candy too if OS looks like crap i don't want to try using it my comment was merely in context: is look far more important to people than their privacy squashed Linux distros are in last 10 years ugly as hell too, but at least you can make them look as you want both UI-wise and candy-wise

  13. Looks like my first trial-attempt on Humming Owl's Modified v11 was somehow being effected by Chinese Official v12 registry strings. I may still delay a v13 2206 v3 until after Humming Owl's Modified v13 becomes available. edit: disregard, I'm putting the v13 2206 v3 rebuild back on the front burner after doing some more digging into the Modified v11 (reported separately). Apologies for going back and forth, it's "evolutionary".

  15. Lots of absolute hell in the changelog. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications A lot of it i never used, but some in there really p**s me off. Alignment to the bottom of the screen is the only location allowed Apps can no longer customize areas of the taskbar News and Interests has evolved Basically this means goodbye to taskbar on any other side of the screen (SOMETHING THAT HAS EXISTED SINCE 95) and possibly taskbar customization like Open Shell, StartIsBack and 7+ Taskbar Tweaker if we cannot customize the taskbar anymore with 3rd party apps. As well as that, News and Interests was ruined in just a month. It was somewhat decent on the taskbar but now you need a touchscreen to get somewhere to it, unless you keep Widgets. PLUS, the taskbar now default center is going to cause so many headaches with friends and family. It really should default to the left because the majority of Windows users prefer it that way and have used it that way for 24 years. Centered taskbar is a very, very, very isolated feature that I believe should be something you set, not something that IS set.
