  1. Is there any program that can convert dvds to mp4 and runs on XP? Thank you.
  2. Hello again. Did you manage to get webex working ? Or it still crashes. thanks a lot.
  3. Are there any patched versions of steam for windows xp?
  4. Did you get a chance to test it with Webex? My university opens in 1 month so I can't really test it with lots of people.
  5. Other than Zoom, are there any other video conferencing programs that support XP? Mypal does not support web apps and the modified version of 360 is unstable.
  6. I am sorry to hear that. Maybe the problem is the VM. When I was using Zoom's app for XP within Virtualbox it was always slow and the sound lagged behind but when using it on real hardware, it is fine, most of the time.
  7. In order to use Cisco Webex on Windows XP you have to 1) Download the modified v12 version from this thread, extract it with 7z in a folder you want and press escape only the first time you open it (download link from first post: https://www.mediafire.com/file/pjthbixelfylwhd/360EE_12.0.1592.0_Modified.7z/file) 2) Install this extention by going to this site: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-for-c/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfmg 3) Right click on the icon that appears up right after installing it and click on settings. 4) Add a new user agent string so that webex.com thinks you are logging in from a Windows 10 device like this one that works from me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/91.0.4472.164 Safari/537.36 To do that, after clicking on settings, copy paste the above user agent string on the field "New User-Agent String", put a name on the field "New User-agent name" and a number on the field "Indicator Flag". I just put 1. Press ADD 5) Go to https://signin.webex.com just click on the icon of the extention, select chrome and then the name of your user agent string. The page will refresh. If you want to deactivate it, just select chrome and then default. This will enable sites to see that you are using a Windows XP computer again. Note: The sign in button does not work for me on webex.com with this version of 360 so i log in from this url: https://signin.webex.com/
  8. Youtube works great even when 3 tabs play at the same time. I did try a test meeting with webex, it seems that it works althought i will have to try it with real meeting too! @Humming OwlI think retro system revival should be notified to post your modified version at their site, so people can find it more easily.
  9. This is amazing. I will try v12 for feedback. I am curious if it crashes like v13 when accessing web apps YouTube etc.
  10. Unfortunately this one is the worst yet in my system. YouTube plays for 5 sec and crashes the whole system. I had to manually turn off my laptop. I will try with Webex to see if it’s better
  11. I will try it as soon as possible. I still use build 2206 and i think crashes get worse the more I use it. Now it can crash although not very frequently even when i am not on youtube, just browsing a regular page not a web app.
  12. is there an IM client that still works with xp and connects with Facebook messenger ?
  13. Cisco webex only works on 360! but unfortunately it crashes after a while
  14. I am currently using Build 2206 on SP3 and it crashes on youtube and some other web apps. i dont think its an sp2 problem.
  15. @jaclazso if I have a dual boot system can I just do the trim there. Is there a specific command on windows 7for that ?
  16. Do you know if any of those trim pprograms work today ?
  17. I want to change the disk on my Elitebook 8540p from an HDD to an SSD drive. Firstly, are there any free drive-cloning tools that work on XP? I have two partitions one XP one 7. Do those programs just clone the whole drive or one partition only? And secondly, which SSD works better with XP. I read that when an ssd has garbage collection, TRIM is not necessary. Is that true and if not are there any programs that do it for XP since it does not support it natively?. Thanks a lot!
  18. It worked (I think the last one)!! Thanks a lot If you make another version, it would be better if editing the .ini file is not necessary. Just from the settings.
  19. It refuses to allow cookies even if i have checked 'Allow local data to be set (recommended)' and unchecked 'Block third-party cookies and site data'. Do I have to do anything else? Thank you. @ArcticFoxie
  20. Hi @ArcticFoxie I am currently trying build 2206. Works great except youtube. For some reason, cookies are deleted after each session. I had to change that from the settings. It probably is better to be the default. I think you should create another thread so people can find easily your modified versions. Here it is not easy to find them.
