  1. Past hour
  2. finally fixed NTDLL.DLL for localizations. @Dietmar you forgot to kill .rsrc section before adding your new section. (and add back .rsrc after filling new section, by using resource hacker) had a hard time to relocate all calls. fixed ger NTDLL: https://rthost.win/tmp/NTDLL-xpsp3-486hack-ger.7z
  3. That file reports a different registry path than the one you wrote down HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome try checking: HCU\......... P.S. I noticed that the policy "NetworkServiceSandboxEnabled" is true in the file. So theoretically it should work. Try the Command Line Switch: --enable-features=NetworkServiceSandbox

  5. As Alex is quite openly stating publicly that he's using code from Supermium, not trying to do it behind Win32ss's back, I would have thought that Win32ss would have done something about it by now if they objected, even if only by initially asking Alex nicely to stop doing it!
  6. I noticed a huge delay, before it finally got through, when posting inf. in a post. Like it checks something or so.
  7. Yes, tested in Windows XP VM under Linux Mint. `NetworkServiceSandboxEnabled` didn't have an effect (doesn't work on unsupported operating systems). PS, I think I know why my manually written policy under `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Thorium` doesn't work. I have not applied the adml file from `thorium_policy_templates.zip` (no idea where to put it under XP, to be honest).
  8. Forgot say, the laptop is from 2013, based on Haswell Pentium mobile 3550M. https://ark.intel.com/products/77404
  9. So I got some time today, I tried the driver, I had to add my device inf., it installed fine, but gives error 43 code.
  10. It's meaningless, since many people simply don't report crimes, don't want to get involved with the police, etc, and the issue is rather serous (remember the scandal you mentioned), Supermium browser, which this one is based on, is paid.
  11. It doesn't work that way, here we respect intellectual property, even though we understand most of it belongs to another man (win32), despite all of the above, there needs to be a clear statement with Open Source code published by the author, none of that happened, so far.
  12. Hi - Is the StartAllBack developer part of this forum? If yes - can you improve the Dark theme support to apply to 32 bit apps like WinRAR. I've downloaded other Dark Themes (Full_Dark_v2, After_Darl_CC_v4) that theme all these 32bit apps but have other issues in control panel etc with white areas (see attached) that StartAllBack manages well. Any chance you can modify your theme and merge the functionality to get the best Dark Theme.?
  13. Circular Reasoning Fallacy Please provide a link where either one of these authors has accused the other of Intellectual Property Theft.
  14. Why not release a better optimised product together, then? One million releases with constant fixes only confuses people. And what does he mean by "legacy" Thorium repo? It's also confusing since Windows 7,8,8.1 are all legacy, too.
  15. Please provide with a link where the author clearly states his softwaie is Open Source, and he (she?they?, if they work as a team) doesn't/don't mind it gets redistributed/modified.
  16. Quite. Alex is not hiding the fact that he's using code from Win32ss. 🙂
  17. I fail to see the point of this. OPEN SOURCE software is a "team effort". Period. If you want a good reveal on that, feel free to dive into Tobin vs Moonchild, roytam vs basilisk-dev, Chrome vs Chromium, et cetera.
  18. It is not fixed. The left edge of several GUI fonts are not displayed for me in XP. I have this issue in Chromium ESR 92, Chromium ESR 108, CatsXP 115, most recent Supermium, and most-recent Thorium. Both inside a VM and on real hardware. Both on five-monitor PC and single-monitor laptop.
  19. They claim this issue is now fixed, could you confirm? And it's again fixed by @win32, not "Thorium" author. https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.169 "GDI text rendering alignment is fixed This bug caused text to be askew, either too high or too low, or too much to the left. The reason previous releases didn't have this fixed, is that win32ss fixed it in Skia, which is a third_party submodule of Chromium."
  20. Since WebGPU ("unsafe" GPU, how the devs still call it) now works on Vista+, it'd make sense for @XPerceniol to switch it off, too. (since he disables webgl, I thought it'd be of interest) https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.169
  21. Interesting,so you use Thorium in a VM. Have you tried checking the Policy below: NetworkServiceSandboxEnabled - true is it OK? Thanks, sorry to bother you,and see you on W.
