Sounds like you [almost] answered your own question. Why not try it out?

That list was compiled using a 2k source, heavily NLITE'd in order to achieve proper playback of wmv and other "windows media" type files. Because NLITE doesn't like inputs for 2k users, I had to figure out how to make wmv files play correctly. Thus the creation of the list. Bear in mind, this was put together waaaay before wmp10 or wmp11 was out, and I have no intention of using either.

i did some testing and here is the list that doesnt work with wmp11 or mplayerc on my virtual mashine:

Applemov.mov
Applemp4.mp4
divx4-PCM.avi
flv1.flv
H.264-2.mov
H.264 (AVC).avi
Huffyuv.avi
I263.avi
mpg1.mpg
Wmv7.wmv
Wmv8.wmv
Wmv9.wmv
WMV9-.wmv

wmfdist95.exe in HF folder and here are the files in the codecs folder:

1156090191.jpg

EDITED

i want to know what codec files i need to run those formats?

I'm a bit confused here because I'm not sure what are doing there. Please just run HFSLIP with your codec packs, media players, etc, install your sourcess and try out the media files. Next run NLITE on the hfslip'd sourcess and then try your media files.

hey maniaq! see if you could give this a shot:

HFSLIP_60819a

Changelog:

- [HFAAO] added support for addons in *.7z format; this requires 7za.exe in HFTOOLS (1)

(1) You can acquire the latest 7za.exe from this page. Download the file of which the discription reads "7-Zip Command Line Version", extract 7za.exe from this package and place it in HFTOOLS.

btw, some of the files you mentioned not playing are not supported unless you have a player that could compress/decompress those (i.e., H-264 are ipod related files which would require itunes) ... try using VLC ... Edited by Kiki Burgh
