jabo2k3 Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 ntl:home 1Mbit £34:99 p/m (i can afford that easily and i'm a student, so enough complaining!)Can't wait until ntl offer 2Mbit like Blueyonder but it won't be for a while since they'll need to upgrade their network to increase capacity (ntl currently have around 1 Million subscribers)
vaughaag Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Well for once BT will be cheeper my god, I do know this when they launch the service the 1Meg will cost what their 512 does now £29 a month and the 512 will go down to what Tiscali charge for 256k about £192Meg is getting a bit mad though unless your doing alot of download (probably illigal) there is no point 512 is fine for most home users. The only reason I have 1 Meg is so I have a nice connection when i remote into work.
un4given1 Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 I guess I am spoiled with my 3.0Mbps download speeds I just wish my uploads were a bit more than 128k. It takes too **** long to upload stuff to my site sometimes.
