Synapse Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 I use CDBurnerXP Pro (Freeware):http://www.cdburnerxp.se/and have installed BurnAtOnce (Freeware) but haven't really tested it throughly:http://www.burnatonce.com/index.htm?newsnever liked the bloat of Nero, but i do got a paid copy of 6.0.somethin that i used to use.
oioldman Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 use 6.6.0.18, agree that don't use all the extra bits, that really should be optional to install and seeing that v7 is over 100mb, think it may be time to find something that is a 1prog does very well rather than 7prog does ok
RJM Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Nero 5.5.10.56 Less bloat. I also have Burnatonce
seapagan Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 I also use CDBurnerXP Pro. Does everything I could need in one tiny (free) package.SP
Mocht4R Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I have nero 6, but i don't have it installed. I prefer alcohol 120%, much better.
Mocht4R Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Oh and i didn't buy my nero copy, it came with my computer. I have to say that nero truly is terrible in every aspect. It uses a lot of space, its not compatible with many different things like image (burning games).

EchoNoise Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I use BurnAtOnce (BAO)Works great, only because it utilizes tools from a unix system.. heh..heh ^_^But you can basically do everything with BAO what you can with NEROBurn DVD-movies, burn cd images, burn cd audio, cd data (duh!)... works fantastico!
FAT64 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Actually, I use 2 burner applications: Nero 7 and Easy Media Creator 7.5. Belt 'n' Braces, you might say.
magicfly Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 nero 6 is the best burning app ever made in my opinion instead of the 7 which sucks
LLXX Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Nero 6.6.0.3 haven't had any problems with it...
Maleko Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I use Nero 6, no probs at all, I also use Alcohol 120%
