I know of VirtualConsole for Avedesk but you don't seem to be running it.

NB: if you have some transparency problems, edit the xml file, <transparency ...>fake</transparency> with <transparency ...>alpha</transparency>. I guess the former one is interesting with win9x/<NT5.

Also, I see you're using Avedesk. Don't you have any z-order (the order of the windows, i.e. which one is one top of which) problem ?

no, I don't have any z-order problems, on desklet props window, I set style to 'normal window'
